The image states no measuring cup - so I didn’t expect one
This is a great product. The images states no measuring cup due to reducing the use of plastic, so I have no issue with this. Lots of people have marked the product down for this reason. Looking forward to good results.

Let's start with the taste 😐, definitely not yummy, nor does it leave you wanting more. It's a strange taste. By far not the worst tasting substance I've had in my mouth 😏 but its still quite nasty in my opinion.Definitely good value for money, especially when you look around.I actually bought this as I have a peptic ulcer. I usually have good control over it resulting in very few flare ups, however recently it's been bad. After loads of research I landed on Aloe Vera gel and decided to give it a try. If I'm being completely honest it helped right away, now when I say helped 'right away' I don't mean it magically took away all my pain and discomfort, what I mean is that I could feel it soothing my stomach (much like what gaviscon would do). There was still some pain but it was a lot more tolerable.I have been taking 25ml everyday now since it arrived and it is starting to make a difference. I have read there is loads of benefits to Aloe Vera, so maybe on the back of this I will benefit in other ways. But for now I'm just happy it's helping with my stomach.

For INTERNAL use!! Tastes rank, but it's probably a magical potion. Better than Forever Living!! HIATUS HERNIA?
Just when I think that I can no longer be surprised by acts of stupidity by certain individuals, they go and excel themselves by punching through the ceiling to reach dizzy new heights of idiocracy. When a bottle says "Food supplement" on the bottle that means it is for internal use and by that I mean via your mouth. 2nd clue presents itself in the form of what I like to call "instructions" on the bottle which tells you to ingest either as a 25ml on it's own, or mixed with water or fruit juice and again states that it is a food supplement. Funnily enough there is no mention of rubbing it all over your face, bathing your feet in it or washing your hair with it - crazy huh?!?! That's because... yup you guessed it - it's for internal use. Clue 3 is the ingredients list and to be honest if you really need a 3rd clue as to how to use it then you really shouldn't be left alone with sharp objects or indeed into society. "Ascorbic Acid"... hmmm, think I'd better google that before rubbing it all over my face... oh whoops too late!!!Now that is cleared up, I'll say that I've been using it myself (internally by mouth) for a couple weeks now. I was given the Forever Living one to try and 4 days in it was a mixed bag but I felt a little better. I have a condition similar to Hiatus Hernia and sometimes when I eat I get what I can only describe as severe indigestion. Trying the FL version say improvement in the 1st few days of being able to eat food easier and with less problems. Only on the last day I ate something and it was like I hadn't taken anything, the pain flared up yet again. Early days I thought and because the FL partner wanted the Aloe back I stopped taking that one and bought this. From trying both the Optima Aloe and the Forever Living Aloe I can tell you that they look and taste the same - disgusting. However, in for a penny, in for a pound and I figure that anything that tastes that bad must be doing some good! One thing I noticed was the FL said to have 120ml a day, as opposed to the Optima which states 25ml and no more. Also the FL version seems to have a thickener in it, which leads me to believe that it is watered down!!!The biggest PRO for the Optima is the price, and at 25ml a go in a 1L bottle = 40 days worth for under £9. Compare this with FL Aloe where the daily dose is 120ml (because it is watered down) = 8 days worth at just under £23!!!! £23 x 5 weeks = £115 for 40 days worth!!!!! WHAT A CON!!!! How Forever Living get away with it is unbelievable, and they will probably spout some mumbo jumbo about theirs being better but it is nonsense. £115 for 40 days or £9?!!!!! Hmmmm that's a tricky one. Funny thing is maybe it is because the Aloe is really kicking in but I feel better from taking the Optima. So far so good and I will update as I go on but other benefits since taking are that I am "more regular" if you catch my drift, I have more energy, my digestion has improved and my problem appears to be being kept at bay. Buy it you won't be disappointed, just make sure you don't confuse it with body lotion.

Yet to see
Only taken for 2 days so I can’t say if it will help with anything. However just wanted to warn people that it tastes absolutely vile! (And the smell 🤢) It makes me heave, but I’m gonna keep trying with it as I don’t want to waste it. I tried mixing with some Vimto but the flavour still came through

Gut health
After researching what to use to help with gut health I came across lots of recommendations for aloe vera, there are a lot of products out there so I took time to look for the purest form that I could find and found that this product had what I was looking for and great reviews. I am only a few weeks in but have already started to notice the benefits so will definitely be continuing to use.
