In between a 10/12 uk size with a mummy tummy I’m worried the 12/14 will be too. If should I go for the smaller size

What size is xs a 6 or 36?

I already have a pair of these in Black size Large. But when i click Nude the sizing is 12/14 etc, so is a 12/14 equivalent to a large?
