Q: Has anyone experienced leaks while being carried daily in a jeans pocket, in any orientation, while doing work?

Leaks should be impossible short of puncturing the cartridge. The ink is thixotropic. This means that it's a thick gel in the cartridge, and hence won't leak. The shear force of the ball causes just the ink in contact with the ball to thin enough to be dispensed. I've carried one in my trouser pocket, daily for years now, never had any leaks.

Q: Does the pen have the US flag emblem on it or not?

No. There is not a US flag emblem on this pen.

Q: Can the end of this pen break glass in an emergency situation?

No I would not try it. Its not pointy or heavy enough.

Q: Does anyone know if this writes on 'rite in the rain' notebooks/paper?

I have a note pad of "waterproof paper" so gave it a try, it wrote on the paper fine. I then wetted the paper under the tap and it wrote well again. I also tried it in a droplet of water of water and was amazed it wrote, it did run a little bit but I was impressed by the outcome. Thanks for getting me to try this out. You can read the words ok after the experiment.
