it fit me, as a grown woman. it should be ok unless the head in question is very small. top quality though.

What material is this hat made of?

The material s a hard, card-like shell covered in a soft flock-like material. Lovely.

Is this hat red as shown in the photo, as in the description/product details, it says it's a black wool, felt hat?

It's hard card with a felt covering and velcro to keep the sides up.

What head size does it fit?

It fitted both myself and a friend , we are very different heights and dress sizes there is a right way to wear it as it is a proper hat shape very good value for the money .

A nice pirate hat at a reasonable price.

A colourful hat with a noticeable black design on a bright background. It is the right size to fit me well. It will be fun for a fancy dress party but is not made of a fabric that will last long term for reuse. But it is good value for the price charged. I am an adult and it is big enough for me.

Pretty enough, slightly weird size

The hat doesn't look as cheap as it is - really pretty, but very wide and quite shallow. I've already tried on my pirate costume and wearing a scarf under the hat helps it to stay steady on the head. Generally, a nice item.
