How would you wash this ?

Just dip it in cold water with shampoo after follow with hair mask and rinse and towel dry then you can blow dry it with medium heat

Does the single clip go in front or back?

There’s a clip on each side and one in the back.. the front still lays pretty flat though without the front clip.. personally I’ve had no issues!
