Works on Chrome OS / Chrome OS Flex!
After installing Chrome OS Flex on an old HP 2000 notebook, it did not see Wifi. I slowly started learning about wifi support on Windows vs Mac vs Linux. Even on Linux, most wifi adaptors only support Linux 6.x kernel or greater. ChromeOS is built on a Linux 5.x kernel. There is very little documentation about this when ordering wifi adaptors. So after purchasing 6 different adaptors that did not work, this one did on both 2.5 and 5GHZ!

Worked Great
I was attempting to salvage an older netbook by installing Linux and hit the usual Catch 22. The wifi was Broadcom which was always problematic, and I do not have access to a wired network connection. You can download drivers from Lubuntu but first you have to get Lubuntu on the device. I plugged the Panda into the USB port and it was recognized by the Lubuntu live installer and the installation went well. I was able to then download the appropriate Broadcom drivers but I certainly will be hanging onto the Panda dongle in case I run into a similar problem in the future.

Working like a champ
I bought this as a replacement for another Panda that was nearing it's end-of-life. No regrets. Plug it in and run it. My OS is Fedora, but it works with Miker-Soft 10, too :D.

Works even with Windows 7, pretty fast performance
My internet is at least 150Mps per the vendor. One of my older desktops with Win 7 did not have Wireless network card. Finally, I used USB to enable WIFI and make the computer more useful again, for guests or editing photos that would take up too much space/memory on laptops. Installation took a bit, I probably didn't have to install the utility tool, but I went with the default choices and Windows 7 recognized the device once I plugged in. Testing out internet, I was indeed getting 150Mps+ on an internet speed test site. Needless to say, I am pretty happy about the performance, my older USB adapter from years ago can only go up to 10Mbps, that's way too slow compared to this!

most recent panda adapter - great product
The PAU0C is my third Panda usb wireless adapter. I previously purchased the PAU07 and PAU0A, the former in about 2016. I have been using fedora linux since 2003 and have previously always found it very difficult to find a compatible usb wireless adapter. The abovementioned three nics have all worked directly out of the box. I live in Australia and based on my experience, none of the major PC/notebook manufacturers provide support for linux operating systems. Panda's tech support is unbelievably good and they will provide all the assistance you could possibly require for as long as it is needed. The PAUOC is the most recent version of the Panda product line. It is very fast and a tiny bit larger than the PAU07. Panda have provided and continue to provide an invaluable service to the linux community for which I am very grateful.

Work with Kali 2024.1 on Raspberry Pi 4B Literally Plug and Play
Panda's website indicated that they do not have drivers for PAU0C on Kali. I was very pleasantly surprised after plugging the USB in and it was recognized immediately. The chipset is MT7612U.I did not need to do anything other than the updating the OS.
