pumpkii Pet Camera for Dog and Cat, Self-Charging Smart Pet Treat Dispenser Robot, Automatic Cat Feeders, Moving Home Security Camera Night Vision

Purchased this product for the self-charging ability. Paid an additional $70 for the self charging basically. I cannot complain about the picture quality or functionality of the product in any way. It works as expected and high quality. However, every time I attempted to take it back to base station (within the proper area of it) and click the recharge button it just spins in does not successfully return to self-charge. I have purchased the other model Pumpkii sells for $109 and I would recommend you do the same. The battery lasts a decent about of time and great quality. This product is not worth an additional $70 for it NOT to properly self-charge even when you follow the directions.

This is great and entertaining for the cats! I have three fur babies and they follow it around the house! The wireless charger is awesome and you just need to get the hang of the best place to hit the "dock" button. Usually docking at 70 degree angle is the spot. I also put a sticker on the floor to help guide me on where the best angle is to dock back to the charger. This robot is also great when you're not sure if you locked the front door or left the stove on. It's been useful! Picture quality is great, wheels are great for rug transitions. Audio not the best but still good.I have purchased both Pumpkii 1 and 2. Here are the main differences I saw.Pumpkii 1 cheaper by $50-75 (depending on if it's on sale) comes in yellow and blue. It has better audio quality but cannot be wirelessly charged and has no docking station. So if you were on vacation and forgot to unplug you'd be stuck to the outlet. Also if you did remember to charge and unplug, there's a chance the battery could die. The Pumpkii 1 had a great function of 'up and down' camera view, and you could wiggle the feather bell. The night vision on Pumpkii 1 was very sensitive and would switch to black and white frequently even if it was daylight. It also has smaller wheels and would frequently get stuck on rug transitions or where the hardwood floors would meet a doorway.My hopes for the makers of Pumpkii 3: better audio, color night vision, up and down camera, a treat counter on the screen, a play laser button function for it to auto zoom around the house, and "wishful thinking" program path you can assign every so often to auto roam.

It took 2 attempts to pair to the network. There is no mechanical reset so I had to wait for the device to run out of batteries for the second attempt.It is nearly impossible to dock. i have never successfully docked it remotely. Even placing the pumpkii on the charger by hand is tricky to get a good charge.With all that said, when it works it is really fun.

but it stopped charging from couples of months ago. It is not running off from the chargeI bought Nov.2023 used for once a week but no longer working already
