I bought this for my 6 year old son.It's very whippy....he can cast with it a mile.It's a budget rod...good for kids or keeping it around for a spare.I wouldn't fish with it myself...however..it's built ok.NO HOOK KEEPER..

Great Rod
The rod is well made,it has a good light action and is very sensitive. It's a great fishing rod for the money. So if you need a good rod without breaking the bank I recommend it.

What a piece of crap.
My wife ordered me this rod for my birthday in September. It sat until the other day and I finally rigged it up today, October 25th. I literally casted this rod twice, on the third cast, the rod snapped in half. I guess I can't expect much.
