Tastes like popcorn! lol
My young daughter is a popcorn addict and we started popping our own corn on the stove instead of using microwave popcorn because it tends to be full of chemicals and artificial flavors. These kernels feel like a step up from the kernels we usually get because they're non GMO and "raised without roundup". I guess roundup is something I never really thought about being in the other kernels we buy, but it makes sense seeing as how it's in so many things we eat. The flavor of this popcorn is pretty much just like we're used to. I don't think there's anything about it that stands out as being really different, which for us is a good thing because my daughter likes her food to taste like it always does (which is a nice way of saying she's really picky). I'm not sure what they mean by "hulless" because as far as I can tell there's still hulls, but I'm actually all good with that because that's where the super important insoluble fiber is at. Hulls or not, despite being a little pricey, this is a traditional and tasty option of popcorn kernels that has the added bonus of missing the stuff we don't actually want to ingest, especially when it comes to our families. :)

Small, tasty kernels
We popped this popcorn in an air popper, and as a result my dog liked it before I even got to taste any because the kernels are so light that several flew out past the bowl onto the floor directly from the popper and also after late popping in the bowl, and he gobbled them up. I used about the same quantity in mass of this popcorn’s kernels as my usual popcorn, and it seemed to make a larger amount of popped popcorn. They had a nice flavor by themselves, as I didn’t get melted butter onto all of them. There were probably a half teaspoon or so unpopped kernels in the bottom of the bowl, but they somehow weren’t as obtrusive as the larger ones are. My two problems with this popcorn are that it isn’t organic like I usually get, though it is non-GMO, and it seems quite expensive compared to my usual popcorn. It is a rather large jar, however, so I took off only one star.

No Garbage Hulls
I was skeptical about “hulless” popcorn, as there is no such thing. However, the combination of small (and possibly softer) kernel led to a lot less chewy and inedible bits than the brands I have used lately. We use an air popper and very few of the kernels blew out or were left unpopped in the bottom which I attribute to the freshness of the corn. The small kernels mean that I needed to use more kernels than normal to fill the same bowl. I like the large-mouthed jar the corn comes in and there is both a safety/freshness seal and a seal over the cap (although I overlooked the cap seal until after I had unscrewed the lid with it still on). I like the single-source, traceable, and non-GMO characteristics also. This is truly premium popcorn for the premium price.

OK popcorn in premium packaging
This is not fluffy as described in the headline, it is small and dense when popped. The store brand I get for a couple bucks pops up fuller and fluffier with a lighter crisp. It's not bad taste-wise but I prefer the size/texture of most common popcorn. It should be called fewer hulls, not hulless, I got one painfully wedged between my front teeth that took some digging to get out and picked numerous others out of other teeth. This might be better as an extravagant gift for the labeling but it is a bit premium and nothing special for daily eating.

Disappointed
The container is much smaller than I thought, for the cost

Great kernels, popcorn tasted great
Princeton Popcorn: White Butterfly Hulless Popcorn Kernels - Easy-Eating, Fluffy Popping Corn, Non-GMO Popcorn Kernals, No Hulls, No Roundup, Direct from Farmer, Microwave or Stovetop 32oz JarWe generally air-pop our popcorn so I was happy to try this brand. It is a large container - I'm not sure how many servings are in it, but I expect it'll last us a long time. I popped slightly more than 1/4 cup of kernels and it popped somewhere between 7-8 cups based on my bowl. The kernels seemed a little lighter than our usual ones and several kernels came out of my popper unpopped before the popping began, but it wasn't a big deal. I grabbed those from the bowl before it filled up. The popped corn turned out crunchy and as expected. I added our usual butter and a little salt and it made for a great snack. I'm happy that it came from a small business, and will enjoy this popcorn for a while.

Tasty!
The kernels are more compact that expected once popped but the taste and quality are great.

Great popcorn
Why didn't I know Hulless Popcorn exists! It's great! I love popcorn, but hate the shards that stick in my teeth. This completely solves the problem. Popcorn pops much smaller than other brands I'm used to - it's like little baby corn. But it tastes great. There are no instructions on the container for how to pop it - so I followed the steps that I usually take for the stovetop.1. Heat a pan on medium high heat with 1-2 tbsp of oil. I usually use a neutral oil like avocado but you can use coconut oil or olive oil if you prefer.2. As I heat the oil I put in 4 kernels and let it sit.3. When the kernels start popping I add 1/2 cup of additional kernels, cover and continually shake the pan until there is a 1-2 second delay between pops.4. Then remove from heat and leave it covered until the popping completely stops.
