Purchased this item for an upcoming surgery (breast augmentation implant exchange) that will require me to sleep elevated. I hesitated to purchase anything because I didn’t know if it was truly necessary, but being a planner and wanting to ensure good rest, I pulled the trigger. I am blown away by how comfortable this thing is. The fabric is soooo soft, and the memory foam is very supportive but just squishy enough for comfort. I am very happy with this purchase and glad I ordered it. I know it will come in handy!Updated after surgery**This pillow has been a game changer in my recovery allowing for adequate rest and sleep! The product is as pictured and firm, its adjustable and feels soft to the touch, my ONLY COMPLAINT IS, the Velcro that comes with it is worn out or cheap. In order for me to use it as designed I had to sew new Velcro on it and I haven’t had it 24hrs.

This was great to use a few weeks after shoulder surgery. Nice elevation and the pillow for under your neck makes it so much more comfortable.

Just had shoulder surgery and this is a life saver. It's big and soft and I bring it to the living room and bedroom with ease. I'm wide and this is perfect for my size. And I also use neck pillow for arm rest.glad I purchased this instead of a recliner.

It's not quite as adjustable as the description would have you believe. The pillow can't be secured in place in any other position than shown, which would probably be OK for a taller person. It's a little difficult to try to reposition when you want to move. I bought it to make my time in bed after surgery more comfortable and it's pretty decent for that but I wouldn't recommend this for anyone that needs something for long term use. There's absolutely no way I'll be able to use this to keep me elevated to sleep.
