In general, extracts use alcohol to dissolve this essential oil into liquid form. Extracts are a perfect choice for flavoring cakes, buttercream, and any meringue based recipes or when you don't want to add any moisture to your recipe. Just add half a capful (1/4 tsp) per 1-2 cups of meringue when you are at stiff peaks or the desired consistency. This extract will mix with oils, honey and chocolate and creams. You can also thin down the extract by mixing with water for facial or skin sprays. It can be mixed with lotions and hand creams. Obviously, take all necessary precautions. Don't taste as is and avoid nose and eye contact. Wash immediately with water.
