I learned to ground when i was younger and working in the mountains. Every chance I had to take my shoes off and sit barefoot on the ground I would do it. If I found a large group of granite rocks I would put my palms down on them as well as my bare feet. That was my favorite. The energy coming into my body was just wonderful and so soothing.My age limited me from those excursions now. I have found a place in my yard where there are no red ants to intrude on me, but I cannot sit there very long.I never heard of these mats, and I am thrilled to report that this one works beautifully. I can sit in my easy chair with my feet on the mat and read or watch a film or work at my desk and I feel the energy come up my legs immediately. It's wonderful.My health has declined in recent years, and after sitting with the mat for a few hours each day my stress levels have receded, and the pain in my legs has disappeared after 5 days use. I'm sleeping better than i have in 6 or 7 years. The sleep is deep and peaceful. I am feeling renewed.(Surfers have always been a pretty mellow group. All those hours barefoot with the earth and water would really do it. I just never considered it before.)I hope this has been helpful to people. I am very glad to recommend this mat. it really feels good

This makes me feel awful. It's better to ground naturally by having bare feet on the ground or on real wood.

Several neighbors in our little community swear by this grounding pad for pain relief.My foot neuropathy is not as yet painful, but I wanted to try this at my home desk to see if the feelings in the bottom of my feet might return.Jury is still out and too new to give an opinion on helping with my neuropathy, but I have had red blotches on the top of my left foot for quite a while that are now fading away. My Dermatologist suggested Vitamin C oil on them, but I did not see any improvement. A week of treatment on the pad and definite disappearance of blotches.

I bought this for my 15-year-old Shetland Sheepdog who has severe arthritis in her back hips and legs.While I don't see a difference in her mobility, she does often navigate to lay on it, so she must be feeling something. When she sleeps on it, she appears deeply relaxed and sleeps hard. I believe she's getting good rest as she will sleep for a few or couple of hours on it without moving or being restless in her sleep. When she's not on the mat and on her padded rug, she doesn't sleep well. In other words, she's out like a light! If it is only bringing her good rest and sleep then I'm happy as at her age, she needs it.

Way they make it sound like it helps you. Only done it three days, but I feel like I have been scam!! I will continue to use it for a month before I give up on it. But it is miss leading.
