Small bulbs come in plastic net. Well packaged for delivery in cardboard sleeve. There is an ID card label with planting information. These bulbs need planted out “in the green” so we will have to be planted in pots for next spring, then planted out when they have grown! I wish this information had been on the advert! It’s going to take a good couple of years to get them established in the ground.

Very fresh out of the ground and very healthy. Really good quality plants. They have been in flower and seem to be settled in the ground. Excellent.

I have many childhood memories of Winter Aconites so I was delighted to find these and look forward to seeing the results!

Accurately counted (actually 26) the tubers were all plump with good roots and just starting into flower.I replanted into trays of compost and put into frost-free greenhouse for now to help them re-establish. I won't be too surprised if being dug-up limits their flowering this season. Once the basal leaves die back in a few months, I'll move to garden.All in all good, as dry tubers don't establish well this is the time to buy.

Given the time of year that these flower i.e. now, I was more than disappointed to receive a yellow plastic net of bulbs that should have been planted around December at the latest for spring flowering!The listing describes them as in the green and clearly shows a bag plastic bag of bulbs with growth. This listing needs to be updated to show what you're actually ordering and receiving. Disappointing on so many levels as these were purchased for a newly landscaped area that needed a burst of colour and and a head start on ground cover. I wasn't expecting to have to wait till at least next year to see anything!
