What is the reason this product is consistently late in being delivered?

The product did have some stock issues that may have caused some delays, but since it ships directly from the Amazon warehouse it should be on time to the promise date displayed at checkout. When the item goes out of stock many times Amazon will still offer it as long as they have confirmation that stock is in transit to their warehouses. In these cases they will show the promise date as a few weeks out rather than a couple days.

Does this help w absorption of vitamins?

Theoretically it should since it is hemp based, but there is no claim by the manufacturer that the product should be used for that
