Not going to lie, I wasn't entirely convinced it would work so well. It is great! It started collecting water in the tank in less than two hours and has been adding more. I've had it in our living space which is bigger than it can technically handle, but I don't expect it to get rid of all the moisture in the room. I am just happy it is getting rid of some of it! I can also easily move it to my office which is smaller or the bathroom which has no ventilation. I got the bigger size but it is still small and cute but holds a lot. All I had to do was take it out of the box, plug it in and press the button. I can't speak to it's durability but I will definitely update if it breaks down. I'm really excited that it works so well. We live in Portland so it is perfect conditions for it to work. I do think that matters

I like this little compact dehumidifier. I use it in my guestroom that had some moisture issues and I leave the dehumidifier running day and night. I haven't used it that long yet but it already made a huge difference in the humidity level of the room. In the beginning, I had to empty the container on the third day of use but now it runs for almost a week before it shuts off because it needs to be emptied. I will purchase another one to use upstairs when the humidity level increases due to prolonged stretches of rain downpours in Virginia.

Just recv'd a few days ago but they literally worked great first night to morning. I live on a lake with glass sliders that are covered in moisture after rapid temp drops. Bought 2 of these puppies (high ceilings & large open area) worked like a charm. I live in Fl so there's a lot of moisture in the air. I can certainly tell a difference. Love them...so far! I'll review again at a later date for an update. Btw...I like the design & light on top serves well as a night light too!

I have used this dehumidifier in my basement for a little over a month now. We recently inherited a large number of guns, and while we have them safely inside of safes with their own individual dehumidifiers, we wanted to protect our collection with an additional dehumidifier. This little machine did the trick. We use our basement as a home office and home gym, so it was important to have something that was easy to use and QUIET. We have emptied it about 5 times in one month and doing so is super simple and clean. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive dehumidifier.

The power button on this unit is not a mechanical switch. Once it is turned off by a smart plug it can't be turned back on by a smart plug. In that case, you have to push the button on the unit with the smart plug set to on. This makes it useless for my purposes. I need to be able to turn it on and off with a humidity sensor/controller. It's going back to Amazon for a refund tomorrow.

I purchased two of these units, looking for something smaller to put one in our bathroom, and one in our closet. I only opened one and placed it in our closet. The good: It was extremely quiet, and took moisture out of the air. The bad: It took three days for it to fill its reservoir as it is such a small unit, and it did nothing to cut the humidity of the closet. I let it run, testing it out for two months to see if it would get any better, unfortunately it did not. Again, if you have a small space, and you do not have really high humidity, then this could work for you. If you experience high humidity and dampness like I do living in the woods, then I would look elsewhere as this little machine cannot keep up. Now I have two of these, one unopened, that I can no longer return.......

For the last couple months, there were a lot of rains in MD. Often feeling sticky kind of feelings all the time. It was very humid lately. I’ve previously owned a mini dehumidifier years ago. It was good, but can’t hold up much water. This one with huge capacity, depending on where I put it, it last many days when I place it in my bedroom, before I have to dump out the water. My basement is bad, and the rain soaked through my basement, so when I put it in the basement, it has to be dumped more frequently. Overall, I am satisfied with it. It is quite, easy operation and large capacity.

I am really impressed with this device. Living in the south and using your oven in the summer time can be rough. However, last night we slow cooked ribs in the oven for 8 hours with running our new de- humidifier and we were both really impressed with the way it reduced the humidity in our kitchen. We were so impressed we are thinking about getting one for our bedroom because it also gets so humid and hot in the summer months. This may even help us save on our electric bill.
