Are these tea bags on a string with a red tag??

No they are packed in twos but you need to be aware that you get the package with 480 teabags brackets 1.5 kg as there is also a 600 Tea bag package which looks the same that contains the same 1.5 kg of tea and therefore of course the bags produce weaker tea. It is my understanding that the tea bags with a red tag contain a different type of tea which is not nearly as tasty

Do you still seal your teabags with plastic or have you swapped as mentioned on your website (“aim to swap by end of 2019 in uk teabags”)

I ordered 480 teabags on 01 November 2019, and received them on 04 November. Those teabags we’re in the single, heat-sealed plastic bag. However, the bag is not resealable, so I immediately transfer all the teabags to thick double-seal freezer bags, to prevent the moisture and essential oils from drying out.

The 600 bag size says "One Cup" but this one doesn't. Are these 2 cups per bag?

I think you can easily brew 2 six ounce cups of tea with one bag.

Do these tea bags have a staple or without? I prefer without, so I can easily compost the entire bag instead of having to cut out the staple.

No staple if you get the bulk pack either 480 or 600 bags (both 1kg). The one cup bags (different blend & not so nice) do have a staple
