The Best Tech Purchase I've Made All Year!
This little gadget has completely changed how I use my car. The installation was so simple my teenager did it without instructions - just plug in and pair. The 2025 metal connector is noticeably more durable than plastic versions - no more wiggling loose. What blows me away is the connection speed - about 5 seconds after starting my car, my music resumes right where I left off. The audio quality is actually better than wired - more dynamic and detailed. After continuous 2-hour use, there's no heat buildup at all. The compact design blends seamlessly into my dashboard. At a fraction of dealership prices, this delivers identical functionality. My only very minor complaint is that initial pairing took about a minute, but that's a one-time thing. Highly recommended!

Like Getting a New Car Without the Price Tag
This adapter has made my 2018 vehicle feel like a 2025 model! The installation was ridiculously easy - just plug in and follow the simple instructions. The metal USB connector is a huge upgrade - it stays firmly in place and looks premium. What really surprised me was the call quality - people say I sound clearer than through wired CarPlay. The compact design means it doesn't interfere with my other controls. After long drives, the adapter stays cool to the touch. At a fraction of dealership prices, this delivers identical functionality. My only very minor complaint is that initial firmware update took a couple minutes, but since then it's been flawless.

AA so far, so good
Ordered this for a 2016 Expedition with Sync 3 upgraded to allow Android Auto. AA works fine, when it stays connected. Any minor movement of the USB-C cable seemed to disconnect AA. This was tested on several different phones, with different Android versions. With the plethora of adapters on Amazon for wireless AA connectivity, I was hesitant to pick one. I liked the compact size of this one and relatively good reviews at the time. I've owned it for about a month, and as the title says, so far, so good.Be sure to connect using bluetooth. The adapter will automatically switch the connection to wifi, and your BT will then connect to your car. If you try to connect to the adapter with wifi manually, it won't work right.Phone WiFi --> AdapterPhone BT --> Car/stereoNo more disconnects! Well worth it.

Good for the price
I like how fast this connects, I would say the downside is that it has trouble with messages and not reading the text to me.

Works as advertised
I was surprised that a cable was required to do either Android, auto or Apple carplay. This wireless adapter solves the problem as advertised.Instructions tell you to expect that the first connection will take longer. I think it actually connected and performed the necessary one-time setup within 30 seconds. After that, it connected straight away within just a few seconds. I was setting this up for my wife and it really had to be a reliable connection. Not something that's going to glitch out every once in awhile. So far so good. For a couple that uses the same car, you do have to do a switchover if you're going to be in the same car at once and you weren't the last phone to connect. There's no other way to indicate which phone should have the priority - that's asking a lot of a little wireless adapter. The easy solution for that is whoever's not going to be connected to the car, just turn off your phone's Bluetooth if your phone was the last phone to connect. But thats the odd case. Most people will have one dominant driver in the car and there won't be a need to switch the connection to a different phone. The convenience of not having to connect to a cable every time is well worth it, as well as avoiding any risk of damage through constantly plugging in and unplugging the USB port.
