This was second hand and at a very good price.Results were pretty accurate. I had a blood drawn for a lab test and the results were pretty close. +- 0.1 g/dLI tend to get anemic if I don't pay attention to my diet (and I'm a weekend work out warrior). and this helps me figure out how much iron supplements I have to take. It may seem a little pricey but compared to a $47 CBC at the clinic, this already paid itself off (including the cost of getting microcuvettes) as I test my iron levels pretty frequently. If my iron level drops, I tend to fall ill and that means I may have to take time off work. Keep my iron levels at a healthy range has kept me working.

For a used product it works very well, fast. Its nice to be able to do this kind of thing without having to go to the Dr.
