Gloss black spot on
When I opened the box, I was worried due to other reviewers saying theirs weren’t gloss black but rather a primed or matte black finish. But thankfully it was a pretty good gloss black and so I went to work. Came with the trim, some foam strip with adhesive on one side, a clamping screw and instructions. When installing, remember this isn’t a replacement to the existing trim that holds the headlight in. This is something that merely goes over the existing parts. Installation took less than 5 minutes when I got all the parts. I gave it 4 stars since the screw that was included wasn’t long enough. No biggie though, went to the hardware store and bought something (~$1.50) that would work and in black to compliment the color of the bike. There is about a 1/2”-3/4” gap at the bottom, but for the price of this compared to HD, I’ll sleep just fine at night. I’d recommend buying this if you’re looking for something to set you apart, but cheap and quick.

Cheap material, poor stamping, no instructions, misleading advertisement. And didn't fit my FLSTF
One pic is from the product details on the Amazon website. It clearly shows this visor attaching to the OEM screw tab axially using the same screw/method as the OEM trim ring... It also shows this as a flush fit.WRONG. This part does not connect this way. It has a screw/nut integral boss that clamps the visor and pulls it radially together. Also, there are no mounting tabs or a lip on the OEM headlight assembly for the visor to grip to. The visor has a crimped lip on the inside to grip onto a lip or tabs in the headlight assembly... See the pics of my bike assembly. The FLSTF 2010 Fatboy only has 2 tabs on the top and the screw tab on the bottom. NO lip or other tabs for the visor to grip.. This part cannot be installed without a a lot of modifications on this version of Harley.I see a lot of positive feedback about this part and even some pictures that look like it fits their application. Maybe, they had to cut access for the OEM screw tab to force the visor on, to grip on at the bottom, or it just fits their version of HD sled.First ensure your product pictures do not mislead the consumer and ensure your product fits the application YOU advertise.Do not buy this part is you have a FLSTF Softail 7" headlight.AMAZON QA. Please review the products on your website. You're not too big to fail

Ok for the $ but you get what you pay for
So im gonna have to make this fair. At first, I didn't like these and box them back up for return. Then I watched a couple YouTube videos on people installing them on their bike. With a little bit of work and properly using the stuff in the box, i.e. washers, weather, stripping, etc you can install them. With a little bit of work they go on OK. They don't look the best because cheaply made being from China. I have decided to keep them on my bike for now and see how they do will maybe purchase some nice ones in the future. I have ordered Amazon items before and it seems as if 90% are from China. I'm trying to stay away from it simply because the products are trash.
