I’ll keep using them, but hope their will be a solution for the shifting cups.
The heel cups don’t stay very well in place. With thin socks they’re fairly comfortable.

Good, but I eventually found better for me
My foot and ankle orthopedist told me to find the softest heel cups I could to help with my heel pain. These were advertised specifically for that condition. First, I had a lot of trouble getting these heel cups to stay in place. They have rather high, thin sides, and I always had to be careful to not mash them down when putting on my shoes. However, I had another pair of heel cushions that were harder, but much more stable. I put these other heel cushions on top of the Dr. Scholl's Heel Cups and after a few days, the Dr. Scholl's adhered to the inside of my shoes quite well. Second, I found the Dr. Scholl's to be soft, but not all that thick. I ended up buying a cheaper gel heel cushion at Walmart that were just as soft, but also thicker and therefore more impact absorbing. I put the Dr. Scholl's in another pair of shoes I wear much less often along with the sturdy heel cushion. So...I still use them, just occasionally.

Provides good arch support
I tried several shoe inserts for heel pain and this provides the most relief. I’ve been using them daily for several months and they’re holding up well.

Crap
Does not stay in place.. rolls up on it self on both the front & side heel areas... so it more uncomfortable than anything else.. and way too thin... doesn't relieve pain... waste of money

Not right for my feet.
At first they are really nice, but it only takes a day of being on my feet and moving to realize they're not that great. They don't stay in place. They turn around and lay sideways and the heel ends up under the arch of my foot, which makes for a very uncomfortable moment, until I stop working to fix them. Granted, they're better than having nothing at all, but they're not what I was hoping for. My heels still hurt at the end of the day. I probably wouldn't recommend them to anyone who asked about them.
