Great Reception & Easy Setup!
I purchased the Philips Modern Loop Rabbit Ears Indoor TV Antenna to cut the cord and was pleasantly surprised by how well it performs! Setup was a breeze—just plug it in, extend the dipoles, and scan for channels. The 15-inch extendable dipoles help pull in both VHF and UHF channels, and I was able to get crystal-clear 4K and 1080P reception on my smart TV.The signal quality is impressive, even in an area where reception can be spotty. I was able to pick up all my local channels, including major networks like ABC, CBS, NBC, and FOX, with no issues. The compact, modern design looks great on my entertainment center, and the 4ft coaxial cable gives enough flexibility to position it for the best reception. If you're looking for an affordable, reliable indoor antenna to get free HDTV channels, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Great product for the price
This little gadget works really well! We have it set up on an outdoor tv, and it gets lots of channels and doesn’t s ramble or cut in and out like some antennae's do. Great purchase.

Works great, cancelled cable!
-Great value for an indoor antenna.-Very easy to install. If you have ever attached a webcam to the top edge of a computer monitor this design will be very familiar to you-The modern design and top edge TV mount blends well aesthetically.-Actual performance will vary depending on where you live and how high you mount the antenna. Do not believe any unrealistic channel claims for any indoor antenna. In GENERAL, if you live within 20miles of a major city and you mount this antenna directly on top of a TV located on the 1st floor you should expect at get all of the major network channels and some additional channels. The higher you mount the antenna the more channels you will receive and the better the signal quality. If you live near a cell phone tower I also recommend buying a LTE/5G coax filter to reduce interference (can be found for under $20). I suggest searching online for TV towers in your area, easy to find maps. If you have towers within 20miles this is all you need, if you are further away you may need to mount it higher or get a larger antenna AND mount it higher. My personal results...I live about 20miles north of Detroit, right on the edge of good range. When I mounted the antenna directly on top of my TV I was getting 18 channels, 4 of which were in HD. I added a cable extension and moved the antenna on top of a nearby cabinet hidden from view about 8ft off the ground and now I get 53 channels, 5 of which are in HD. About half of those channels are just 24hour infomercials but the rest OK. Much better than expected, best purchase I've made this year so far.If you mostly stream and just use cable for local news and major networks this is a no-brainer. Get it and cancel your cable subscription, we're saving about $80 per month. This antenna paid for itself in just a couple weeks.

Junk. Trash.
I tried. I tried so hard to get this antenna to work. I even got a second one as I thought the first one was broken. I bought the adapter booster as well. It just wouldnt work. No matter the placement I could not get the antenna to get the very simple channels I wanted.I contacted phillips, they said it is placement. When I tell you I spent hours on top of hours on top of more hours, several times a week and the amount of scrambling I did, I still couldnt get the channels I wanted. and IM talking these channels metv, cozi and rewind. The nostalgic feel good shows that i enjoy to mindlessly watch.I even went as far as getting a newer TV and BOY that was a big mistake as the antenna worked even worse. Yes, I have used other antennas with much better quality but it was an eyesore of seeing hanging cable lines and the only placement to stick was my window but then I couldnt open my window. And opening the window in the summer time is everything if you dont have AC. So thinking I was upgrading to a more stylish antenna, I was excited. NOPE. nothing is more worse then finally getting a clear picture to watch a show and then it scrambles out. Maybe if I put my TV outside with the antenna I would get channels. So here is what I think of the antenna now... Its 100% in the trash.1 star as the only thing it has going for itself was the sleek non instrusive design.

OK, but the other one is better
I tested this product along with three other indoor antennas about 25 miles from the Philadelphia transmitters. I evaluated the signal level and modulation error ratio of 11 digital channels (encompassing 74 virtual channels). This includes two VHF-low, two VHF-high, and seven UHF channels. This antenna did OK, but was not the best. The winner was the Philips Rabbit Ears Black Indoor TV Antenna (SDV8201B/27). Both antennas had an average signal level of around 62 db. However, this antenna's average error ratio was significantly smaller (18 vs 24 db), resulting in the loss of two of the digital channels. Also, the winner was 25% less expensive, and can be hung vertically or placed on a flat surface.Note that if you own a Roku TV, you can see the signal levels and noise ratios by pressing the Home button five times and the following arrow key sequence: Up, Right, Down, Up, Left, Right.
