Does it really break down your compost faster/better (I live in a cool climate)? How much do you use?

I live in a cold climate, too...North Dakota. I can't say that I've seen any difference. And the stuff really does stink.

Does this have any animal maure in it?

If you want something all natural, there are going to be animal parts in it. No way around it.

Does this work in cold weather? Have recently purchased but debating whether to apply it to large leave piles this cold fall or wait until spring?

It will work in cold. It is helpful to pour hot water on it to help activate it. Plus at start of winter you eant to make sure your pile is hot to keep working through winter.

Will it kill the worms in my compost ?

earthworms do not live in an active "hot" compost piles, that are 120 - 150 degrees. after several weeks or a months the pie naturally cools and then the worms come.
