Worked straight out of the box , easy to attach / change to heads for different spray patterns , includes 4 ‘straws’ to keep it central in smaller sized bowl .The gentle sound of trickling water is very soothing when sitting on the patio .EDITED TO ADD THAT BY 10th MAY THIS PRODUCT HAD STOPPED WORKING .Never allowed to run dry , clean water added daily but still it just gave up 😡

Ours was priced £8 and I think that that is about right for what you get. I would advise not paying anymore than £10 for this size (around 6 inch diameter) as I have seen this advertised for £15 plus P&P!! Be aware, that it has to be in direct sunlight for a continuous fountain stream, the slightest bit of shade on any part of it will affect how well it runs. A little tip too, sometimes it will stop working, even in strong sunlight, and if the filter isn't blocked, then this could be an air bubble, so just removing the nozzel and replacing it seems to remedy this problem. You might need something to help remove the filter cover when cleaning, as it's tight, unless you have a strong long thumbnail. Cleaning the filter is really easy. Ours needs cleaning regularly as it's in our fish pond, and our fish seem to love to hide under it, so it is fish friendly.

This is the second one of these I have bought - it's predecessor 'died' after two years and some rough treatment for the bird life in my garden. So easy to install - basically put it on the water and off it goes, no fiddling about, no wires to plug in - just make sure the solar panel is somewhere that can catch some rays. It sits in a small pond and although it is solar it still works in duller days. It's a modest fountain - don't anticipate Versailles - but it trickles and tinkles away happily like a low key soundscape which is very calming.

Great for about a week. Looked lovely. Accepted some reviews said it needed full sun, but quickly realised it means FULL BLAST sunshine or no fountain! Any sign of a cloud or even its own sprinkle casting a slight shadow makes it stop! After about 7-8 days, we thought it was struggling on a less sun-blasting day but realised it had in fact stopped working, just spurting randomly, then conked out completely. Took it out to inspect and the solar panels already looked cracked/crazed. Filter was clean. Just stopped working. Cute for 5mins but not worth the effort overall. Save your ££.

I love this. Perfect for my little pond. I’ve had it a few weeks and it’s great. Does need full sunlight to create high fountain but the pump works even at low levels. When I first got it I thought it didn’t work properly but it was a low light level day. Would suggest setting up in full sunlight. My little pond is staying clean and it’s really simple to clean the little filter should you need to. I’ve only done it once. Great product for the cost. Impressed 😊

Works ok for a short while but easily blocks

It is really cute but for it to have a continuous flow, in bright sunshine, it needs to be in a wide diameter bowl or pond as the fountain does spray and go over the edge meaning the container needs filling often. Pretty good value for the price
