RYOBI 18V ONE+ 4.75 Gal. Wet/Dry Vacuum

I have bought this Ryobi product many times and LOVE it. It's a great value shop vac and gets the job done. If you're already in the Ryobie 18V battery ecosystem, this is a no brainer purchase. I'm updated this post to five starts since the seller did end up working with me to resolve the theft and ensuring that there was a signature at the door for the delivery. This product is fantastic if you're in the Ryobi family and the seller is responsive and solves problems with you.

This is the perfect shop vac for cleaning out an old house without electricity. My husband and I are cleaning out an old house and don't have electricity available at the site. We are working with a lot of dust and debris. We bought the battery, but were fortunate to have a Ryobi 18V charger at home so we didn't have to buy the charger. We use the shop vac until the battery gives out. Then we dump the contents of the vacuum in a garbage bag, remove the filter, and battery. We take the filter and battery home where we recharge the battery and remove the dust from the filter with our vacuum cleaner. Our work site is dusty so we've had to clean the filter after each visit. This vacuum has good suction and is light weight. We have not used it as a wet vac. so cannot comment on that. We are very happy to have found this vacuum.

FIRST OF ALL.... It is battery Powered.... with only 18 VOLTs.... It works AWESOME if you keep that in mind.So I read ALL the reviews before purchasing this..... Those who are trying to compare this to a plug in professional wet dry vac, are just wrong.... it is apples and oranges... As far as cordless vacs..... THIS SUCKS..... FOR REAL and that is GREAT....So one reviewer said it rusted, (wonder if they left water sitting in it?) but anyhow, I painted the inside before 1st use!! I use this in my camper... Mud and dead insects mostly.... but that's why we camp.... I also found it to work wonderfully in the driveway on the cars and trucks. No extension cords to run. This is a GREAT (CORDLESS) TOOL TO HAVE.... I wholeheartedly recommend this.DrB

I’d give it 5 stars if it didn’t eat up battery power so quickly. Maybe lasts 30 mins with a fully charged one. BUT great product. Easy to use with lots of features.

Bought because local Home Depots did not stock. Worked for less than 9 months, Ryobi "support" told me to take to an authorized service center. That was an hour away, but we did it. Claim was denied because purchased on Amazon. Ryobi said "they will not stand by the product" bought on Amazon. STAY AWAY from Ryobi and anything listed by them on Amazon - it's trash.
