Definitely worth the $$$. After breaking my lower leg it was difficult using my toilet even though it's a higher seat and elongated. Be aware that the additional 5+ inches works for me and I'm 5'9". If you're shorter you might want something less than 5". Fit perfectly but if you put pressure on the edge it can move a bit but no problems for me.

I have a complex rest of the medial meniscus…I needed something to ease the pain of trying to sit down… This is very sturdy. It fits my stool perfectly. (I raise BOTH lids and put the riser down on the stool itself) It does not move around or slide at all!!! I feel it is very secure. I’m about 5’2” and have a round, short (probably considered standard) stool. I should have bought a shorter riser because my feet aren’t flat on the floor—but I feel very safe using this riser. It has helped my knee so much to have these extra inches. I highly recommend this riser.

It works perfectly for what I need, it definitely will not fit an elongated toilet bowl, and does slide side to side a tiny bit, but otherwise it doesn't slide when we sit down, it's pretty comfortable. Bought this because our new toilet is so low, works great with the squatty potty too. If anyone fell on this I'm guessing it probably was way too loose on their specific toilet, but on my toilet it's not bad at all. If you jump on it or sit on it hard it could possible come off, but no problem here so far.

This toilet riser could not be easier to use - take it out of the box, lift your toilet seat/lid, put the riser into place. It fits easily and barely moves around. Perfect for anyone who has mobility issues or needs a higher toilet seat without the expense of replacing your whole toilet.I have two complaints, which I'm taking off one star for both combined.One, it would be VERY helpful if this had a hole/scoop/indentation at the front to make reaching down to wipe oneself easier, or especially if you are a caregiver for somebody else.Two, while the seat is wide/firm (great!), it makes the hole into the toilet smaller, so if things are ... messy, then you'll find yourself cleaning the riser more often than expected. If I was designing this, I would make it with an interior curve so that the seat is the same but the interior walls give more space to do one's business.Overall, however, two thumbs up. Has been extremely helpful to get the extra lift for the toilet after double knee replacements.

This is great especially if you don’t want to permanently attach it. It has non slip grip on the bottom that is very stable. Easy to disinfect after each use with a Lysol wipe. It’s very high so easy on and off. Hope this helps someone.

The good thing about this toilet seat extender is if you approach it right the gripping pads keep it stable. Don't have balance issues or do get a railing that you might order separately. For the price you might like it. The instructions included warned sufficiently of being aware of tipping so the user should assess his or her need for stability.

Did not fit all my toilets even though all are elongated. It would slip and was not steady.
