Are the inlet and outlet threads brass? The description hints at it, but the pictures look like they are plastic. Thanks.

No they are plastic. I was worried about this because I was using brass ball valves on both sides to shut off the water to and from when changing filters. I have had the system running for 6 moths now and with the teflon tape there has been no leaks. I do not expect to change out the ball valves ever in the future so its good to go as long as I am in the house. A good product for the money spent!

does this come with bracket and wrench?
