Smells so good. Not flowery or sweet that’s why I love it.

I would not say this smells only of Sage. There are other ingredients that give it an earthy outdoor smell. I really like it. The scent fills the room and there is no smoke like some other candles have. I bought another "luxury" candle that I had to return because the smell was so bad I had to air out my house. This one is great and takes very little time to fill the room. There is no smoking and it seems to burn evenly. I would recommend it. I have the Rum perfume from them and like it. I may give that one a try too.

I am a huge fan of the MALIN and GOETZ brand and their candles are no exception! This sage candle seems very strong at first, but it’s actually quite a clean smell. You don’t need to burn it long to have the room filled with the aroma. The vessel is a very simple design and fits in with almost any decor. Highly recommend if you’re looking for an every day kind of candle that you can light after dinner and don’t want anything too intense.

This is the most expensive candle I’ve ever purchased and the company’s scent ‘description bergamot and plum mingle with middle notes of leather and rum, and base notes of amber-patchouli and vanilla’ along with everyone’s rave reviews had my mouth watering. I LOVE scents like these. Add into that the advertised burn time and I thought, okay let’s do it. I was so excited for it to arrive.I’m not sure what the deal is with my candle but my experience is completely different than those rave reviews. Did I get a bad batch? I know from making my own candles that there’s a lot that goes into it… It’s been burning for 3 hours now in a pretty small room (which according to the packaging is actually supposed to be its max burn time) and 1.) I can barely smell it - the throw is terrible - I basically have to stick my face next to it and 2.) it smells like a bar of dove soap and nothing like the description. I’ve bought much better candles from Target for $10, and even the candles I’ve messed around with and made myself have had more throw.Just really disappointed.

tomato doesn’t sound like a scent that you would like but it’s honestly delightful and smells fresh like a day in a garden. plus the malin goetz candles are always such good quality and do an excellent job filling the room. granted i dont have any huge rooms but still theyre very effective for normal one bedroom apartment

No issue with the candle, it’s perfect. However, I’m guessing that many of these $64 candles are given as gifts. Why would you slap a sticker that can’t be removed without destroying the aesthetic on the top of the box. Won’t buy from here again. Thoughtless.

I would put these in every room if they weren’t $64, but damn, they are THE BEST smelling and long-lasting candle ever. Ever. Ever.I wish they would send me a free one since I’m their best customer!
