Is this knife sharp and will it rust?

I found it not to be that sharp, So I sharpened it. As for it not rusting, I think if it were left out in the elements or in an area with a lot of moisture, it would. Also, this knife is small, it is not like a traditional pocket knife, it is not over six inches. It is about 4 inches opened. I bought it to keep on my keychain to open boxes

I'm not exactly sure of your question but the wood grain is brown and I do not see any black. It is a great little knife and I have it on my key chain. Also very sharp. :)

It's legal to carry but when you go through a metal detector at the courthouse for example, I would take it off. That's just me.
