Brilliant For Immobilising Your Arm At Night
After slipping from standing and falling onto my right side a few years ago ( I virtually fell without putting arms out or anything to break my fall) during a strong zumba exercise class, I have had a lot of times where my elbow has become irritated from tennis and golfing elbow. I used a normal support during the night and the day but after speaking to my doctor via webchat on one of the lockdown's as both my shoulder and elbow was playing up he suggested ai needed to get a splint to keep my arm straight at night as during your sleep you naturally have no control where you place your arms and naturally bend them. This has worked a treat and having the metal plate within has helped me no end and to heal much faster. I will forever now get irritation from this elbow and it still does play up especially in colder weather but this splint has been a god send, plus it can be used on either arm should it be required. Easy to secure, I find sitting at a dining room table is an easier way to put this on. I open it up, lay my arm on top. I then secure my forearm in first and then my upper arm. Once on and moving my arm to my side I can the adjust the straps easily for a tighter fit.

Elbow splint
So the description states this is a:-Elbow splint, night and day brace for ulnar nerve entrapment, cubital tunnel syndrome, for left & right arm. Immobilizer for sleeping extension and working, adjustable angle aluminum bracket ~ L/XL.Adjust the elbow brace from 90° to 180°.4 adjustable straps1 built in aluminium plateThis splint is fully adjustable with elbow range of 13" ~ 16" / 33cm ~ 41cm and 90° to 180° elbow angle. It covers a wide range of people I would say adults but you never know. What I like about this one is that it also has a removable metal plate to restrict motion. When needed the metal plate adds extra support and stabilises your elbow for quicker healing. But just to add support that's not so rigid we use it without the bar.Another advantage of this strap is that it can be used on either the left or right elbow. The price at the time of this review is £26.95, which is high but does depend on if it will last.So far so good. But I will update this review if needed.*** Detail's:-* Brand:- Sylong* Special feature:- Built-in aluminum plate to adjust the angle of the elbow splint* Material:- Polyester* Unit count:- 1* Closure type:- H* Product care instructions:- Hand Wash Only* Weight:- 135g* Size:-* L / XL* 13" ~ 16"* 33cm ~ 41cm

Great for Ulnar Nerve Entrapment...
This Sylong Health elbow splint arrives in a ziploc polythene bag that's handy for storage. It's very well made. It's also easy to put on yourself - you don't need anyone's assistance. I ordered the splint as one of the conditions it's designed to help with is Ulnar Nerve Entrapment. If you have this you'll find that the little and ring fingers of your hand are numb/tingly extending a little way down your wrist area. The other fingers and thumb are unaffected. One way to combat this problem can be a splint. I had a smaller one previously which lacked any kind of metal rod inclusion as this splint has and was wearing this in bed at night. This splint is in my opinion far superior. I've been wearing it now for over three weeks at night. Comfortable to wear, it does appear to be having a beneficial effect. If you're thinking of sending for this item, do measure to check whether you'll need the S/M - which I got - or the M/L. I was a little unsure after ordering whether I'd requested the right size. The S/M is true to size though and is amply big enough for me. A sewn in tag on the splint suggested the size is M - medium. Now for me it's a case of continuing to wear this elbow splint. If you don't want to use it with the metal rod insert, simply remove it - there's a Velcro topped compartment from which it can be extracted. At time of writing this is £26.95 which in my view is reasonably priced given the quality.

An elbow splint that works
I have a lot of problems with my elbow after I fell on it. I've tried various splints and supports but they either didn't help or made it worse. So I thought I'd try this with the metal support inside that you can bend. I wear it at night mostly but it's certainly helped make the pain a bit better by the morning. This has a strong velcro closure and it's quite comfortable as splints go. There's airflow too because it doesn't completely encase your elbow.I think this is a really good splint for the money and I'd recommend it.I appreciate it won't be right for everyone but it's worth giving it a try.

Elbow splint
Delivered in its own branded packagingThis elbow brace is made with a soft fabric it attaches to the upper and lower arm with adjustable velcro strapping , leaving the elbow clear . On the outside of the brace ( inside arm when worn) there is a metal rod .This is a beneficial medical aid if you have torn or trapped nerves and tendons in your arm , it helps ease pain , especially at night . A good alternative to pain medication .This is very well made and the quality is reflected in its £27 price . I'd definitely buy again

Was Okay
But it didn’t help support or aid in the healing process as much as I thought it would

Helps relieve pain and trap nerve on the elbow. Also this can be used on both hands.
I get a lot of pain in my right elbow and have tried armband and compression sleeve and nothing has helped . This is the best elbow brace by far. I use it during the day and sometimes in the nights depending on how my pain level is. It feels lightweight and comfortable and you can adjust the tightness. I have a fat arm and I choose the large x large and happy with the size. You can use it on either side of the elbow left and right. Overall great robust quality and design. I would highly recommend it and it does work.
