Becoming an adult
I've always used a step Infront of my toilet. It was a child's plastic one with Winnie the Pooh on ironically. For years I kept it. I'm now 53 and still my bathroom no matter how sophisticated it was decorated I was stuck with guests asking if I had grandchildren. No I don't I would reply. Now this is slick , folds away quickly and you can if you're a man stand up with space for your big hairy toes. Whilst you water the drain. It's very sturdy, I know I've stood on it to change a light bulb and I'm never far from the fridge. It's well worth the investment as we are adults and we all need to use this at least once a day every day . Whilst I should get revenue from my review I don't . Just love my number 2 stool

Does help in healthy poo routine!
I suffer with constipation due to medication. This doesn't cure it but it's a useful tool in my healthy poo routine. It does feel like a better position to be in to empty bowels. Sitting on loo with feet on it and relaxing is helpful.This item is sturdy and well made. It looks ok, I keep it by the toilet. It would also make a good step for kids to use loo.The springs have good tension, but closing them could be an issue if you've got arthritis. It's handy that you can fold it for storage though.

Be careful of the strong hinges
When assembling the stool, I was opening the hinges caught my skin in it and it was excruciatingly painful. Be very careful as they have strong springs!The stool is brilliant and has helped hugely with bathroom visits.

Great quality
I am impressed with quality of the stool. Sturdy construction, very handy folding mechanism, precision cutting.It comes in a pouch for storage/travel which is a nice bonus.

Attractive bamboo item, just the right height
This toilet stool is just the right height for its purpose, and the real-wood finish looks good in the bathroom. However, it's quite heavy, and the metal hinges are rather stiff, so it take a bit of effort to close the stool up for storage. I would prefer to put it away each time after use, but the weight and hinges put me off. I also found one of the hinges failed to close a couple of times - but if I push it outwards first, then the pin is released (so it's not quite perfectly aligned).
