Yes, but I only fold it into 4. Better to roll it. I have a cardboard tube ( from a carpet) that I roll it into for storage. I take this mat in my sewing bag to sewing clubs. Hope this helps.

Just received this. Its heavily creased due to the way it was folded and packed. Any way to remove those creases?

Ironing it should help. I'm only ironing small objects on my pad and I fold it away after so the folds don't bother me.
