Life saver!
The light has many features - the torch beam and the diffuser at the side with their many modes are great. It does take some getting used to do what you want with the one button. This can be a pain in the backside.I was sceptical about its use in an emergency - as you have to unlock it and then press the button twice to get the high mode. I have an olight warrior 2 which has a button in the tail as well as the side - the former of which can be programmed for emergencies - and it works like a charm. However, I have just returned from a trip abroad and took this torch instead and have used it in anger! Am I glad I bought it!First, I was confronted by some street dogs (attacked would seem to extreme a word - but they charged me in anger). I quickly drew the torch - 2 clicks it came on (normal maode) and momentarily stpped the dogs who then decided to continue their challenge - 2 clicks further shone the high beam into their eyes, resulting in them quickly changing their minds and backing off. Not as fast as the Olight - but it worked.Secondly, and above all, I use an older iPhone for my non-Uk sim. Unfortunately, I soon realised that the battery would die at a crucial time of the day - greatly hampering my communications and ability to secure a ride home (uber, etc). Then I remembered! I had purchased this torch after watching a review on youtube. Though the manual does not mention it - the torch functions as a power bank!!!!! I was able to purchase a lightening to Usb C cable and successfully managed to re-charge my phones when the battery got low or was totally drained. AND IT CHARGES QUITE FAST! This facility was a great comfort to me and made my stay that much more relaxed and productive (not a holiday).I would buy this again!

So good I bought a second one.
I bought this for an upcoming trip to Asia, where power cuts are a regular occurrence.I was so impressed with the output and the versatility of having both beam and flood, I bought a second one as a gift for a family member. It’s nice to have the option of a strobe function to keep wild dogs at bay, but I can’t see me using the coloured lights.Very pleased with the purchases, especially when I bought both with significant discounts.

Very impressive
I've been wanting one of these for a while. Had high expectations and still this light exceeded them. Versatile, super bright on turbo, strapless mode changing. Multiple modes available for the spot, work light and full spectrum color and multiple flashing modes for all. So many customizable options , easy interface and UI. Very high quality build and a very high quality battery included. Super powerful magnetic base and removable side clip and lanyard will keep it tethered to you. Got a great deal on the price also, for the price it's comparable to a much higher end light. And still easily EDC in my pocket.

Great flashlight, need to learn all the button combinations to activate all the cool features
It’s always great to have a nice flashlight with multiple uses and magnetic bottom to stick anywhere

So good I bought two!
The Sofirn IF23 EDC Flashlight is very versatile, compact, bright, and awesome! So good I bought a second Sofirn IF23 EDC Flashlight to give as a gift. It took a couple of minutes to learn the various switch presses, but now they are second nature… The turbo setting is really bright! The flood light turbo is really bright too. The moonlight setting is so nice when you don’t want to blind everybody in the middle of the night. It doesn’t take up much pocket space. All for a decent price. I don’t understand the negative reviews. This is an awesome flashlight. The Best flashlight I have ever found. I highly recommend the Sofirn IF23 EDC Flashlight. I might have to buy a couple more!

Versatile
The IF23 feels pretty big in hand compared to the SC31. It's not a bad thing but just something to take note of. The battery lasts me forever due to its 5000mAh battery. Like the SC31, it's well built abd has lubed Orings and threads out of the box. It's extremely bright when comparing to the smaller brother (SC31). I don't need to use the turbo mode alot but when I do it's more than enough for me. I have bee. Using it daily for almost 2 weeks and haven't recharged the battery besides the first time I opened the box. I've used it every day so far testing out all the different brightness and modes. There is one thing that does bother me with this light and that's the UI. It's not very intuitive for the average user but once you start using it, it becomes second nature. If you keep the brightness on the main light at a certain brightness, then you switch to the side light it keeps the same level of brightness mode. It would have been nice to have it remember the last brightness setting used when toggling between the front and side lights. I've tried using the led rgb mode but it seems a bit gimmicky. I cannot change the brightness when using this mode. Other than the UI and rgb mode this flashlight is great. I don't think I need to charge it for a other week or 2 at the least. I'd like to mention that both the side light and the front light are very bright . I usually keep it on medium mode for the front light and high for the side light. The tail cap being magnetic is a nice touch as well. Very handy when using it when working on my car doing fluid changes.

Very handy and powerful light
This is a feature packed light. First the main beam is a very bright, relatively focused beam that on turbo is very impressive. The side panel has two modes, warm white and adjustable color. The warm white is great to light up an area and on turbo is very bright. Both the main beam and the white side panel can be adjusted from very low, ie moonlight, to turbo. You can adjust the brightness either in steps (L,M,H, Turbo) or set it to a continuous ramp up/down. Both white lights can also go into strobe, SOS, or beacon modes. When using the side panel in color mode you can pick the color by holding the button as it rotates through the various colors. You can also have the color flash/blink. It is not a rapid strobe, but a typical blinking. You cannot adjust the brightness when using the color mode. It is bright enough to be an indicator, but not super bright. One note, when you have the main beam on turbo the light gets pretty warm quickly and begins to ramp down the brightness after a few minutes. This is pretty expected with how much light is coming out of such a small package. There just simply is not enough metal mass to dissipate the heat. Basically use turbo sparingly when needed. There are four main modes: Main beam, white side panel, color side panel, Main & White panel together. My light is what is being referred to as V2 which has a manual lockout mode which for me is preferred over the V1's auto lockout. This light can also be used as a power bank to recharge your phone or other usb device. This brings me to my last note. The usb port is very narrow. Not all usb-c cables are going to fit. Obviously the usb-a to usb-c cable they provide for charging works just fine, but for powerbank c-c use be sure to check that your cable will fit.
