Can i rig this and fit a wheelchair inside to use as a costume?

The Playhouse is 25" x 30 1/2" x 35" which you might be able to rig as a costume over a wheelchair.

Can I open this up and use it for trunk or treat decor?

Yes. I painted the pirate ship for Halloween and set it up when we camped and it transported very nicely. We disassemble it when transporting

Is this too small for a 4ft child to comfortably use?

My average size four year old fit fine

How do kids get in and out of it? Is there a door?

Depending on their size, the kids can climb over that middle part, between the decorative railings. However, I think there was a place to cut open a door there, too. Or maybe we just cut it ourselves. In any case, ample options for entry and egress. :)
