Can see in the dark
Ordered this night vision monocular to be able to identify items in the dark. This night vision device works really well as both a handheld and mounted night vision device. On my firearm setup I have a paq 14 IR aim device which this device can see in the dark. This night vision device is lightweight and attached to the back of my aimpoint very easily. My biggest gripe with this device is the zoom dial under the viewer is difficult to turn and seems like it needs lubrication. Also the diopter adjuster on the eyepiece has a spot where it seems to either skip gears or engage rather quickly, it goes from smooth to a jump very fast. I like how there is a second battery included, but I would like to have seen an 18360 charger included. I would also like to have a type c charging port instead of a micro usb port on both the flashlight and nigh vision device.Overall, this device works for seeing in the dark, but needs a form factor update.

Doesn't reach terribly far
I got this to use while hunting as I often sit on a meadow in the early reaches of morning and often hear critters moving around but can't see a thing. While I was able to use this night vision to see things up to maybe 30 feet, I really couldn't see much at all beyond that, even with the variable settings on the IR illuminator. The environment was perfect for testing, but the result left me wanting more. I'll take it out again next hunt, and I hope for the best, but as of now I'm just disappointed.

I so wanted like this
Oh man I was super excited for this night vision scope. I have tested several other ir night vision goggles (the ones that look like binoculars but have a bigger screen on one side). I really like the design of this night vision more than the others. I was very impressed with the rechargeable ir light. It does a decent job shining in the dark and the battery seems to be lasting a fair amount of time on the charge.Now….i mounted this onto Vortex diamondback tactical scope and was immediately disappointed in the quality of the picture. The actual scope is really clear. Looking through the night vision attached to the real scope in daylight mode the picture was notably pixelated. I made so many adjustments trying to get this picture clearer but never could. The next issue that I had was that I had to move the diamondback forward to compensate for the length of the night vision. That’s kinda really a big pain. If you leave your original scope where it started looking through the night vision your cheek won’t be anywhere’s near the rifle stock and if you move your scope forward to compensate for the night vision you render your scope useless as now it’s many inches forward from where it needs to be to see through it.Night time. Still attached to the diamondback. Tested this side by side with my ATN 4k 5x20. This night vision was extremely difficult to see rats at the pig feeder 30 yards away. Extremely pixilated and could not get it focused in to make it any better. Then my wife pointed something out that I had not noticed. The night vision was not centered on the actual scope due to how it is clamped onto your original scope. It just doesn’t fit right.Value for the money???? IMHO not worth the price tag.

Batteries are included
This digital night vision monocular is great for total 100% darkness lighting up the night for your viewing and has a great workable viewing distance too!Primarily, this is designed to fit onto your rifle scope to be able to use that at night in combination. It takes a little bit of debugging and tweaking to get it set up and honestly, I’m still in the process of doing just that as it is a process to work through. Instructions are included. This also comes with a super nice case where everything can be kept nice and neat and protected.I like the fact that it is Wi-Fi compatible to enable remote viewing to watch on your phone or tablet simultaneously. This is accomplished through an app connection.I believe this gives an extra dimension to your hunting accuracy and pleasure, time will tell. In the meantime, I would say that this is really for those that might be more technical in their understanding with modern technology and who might better enjoy that aspect of life to appreciate this with the powerful technology that is available here, 5 stars!

Good night vision capabilities, fairly low resolution
This is the second night vision product I've tested after being disappointed with the first item. While this one is a huge step up in quality/finish/capabilities from the other unit, it does seem to be lacking in resolution when looking through the scope which makes it difficult to use in some scenarios. One aspect I can't complain about is the overall build quality and packaging which is very good. The unit itself uses the older style micro-USB port to charge which is a small disappointment given the move to the clearly superior USB-C for nearly all modern devices. The included IR flashlight is also well built with tight tolerances and all the hallmarks of good built quality. When attaching this item to a Pinty scope, I found the resolution to be lower than I hoped for. When viewing on your phone via the wifi connected app, the quality is slightly better but that is not a scenario I would expect to be using in real world applications.Overall I'm happy to have this night vision and would probably recommend it as an option to consider.

A useful monocular for the price. As a scope attachment, pass though.
As a scope attachment it fails. If it would have had some durable way to also mount it to a pic rail behind the scope, then it might have been acceptable for that, but there's no way to keep it centered steady enough with the mounting system the provided.. However, if you use the flashlight mounting area on the top of the unit to adapt it to fit a helmet, it functions as a very effective low cost nightvision monocular.
