NGK5266 Laser Iridium Premium Spark Plugs IZFR6K-11S - 4 Pack

Plugs are genuine NGK! Works great in 2010 Honda Civic! First plug change after 100k miles. Engine running quieter and is more responsive. Closely inspected plugs since there are supposedly lots of fakes being sold on eBay and such. Read and watched many videos to get better informed about distinguishing genuine from fake. Some clear characteristics of genuine plug: center electrode is lower profile (compared to fakes with a larger diameter), center electrode has precious metal (platinum) disk welded to its tip, ground electrode also has a very small but visible bead of platinum welded on the inside (aligned to directly face the tip of the center electrode...electric current/arc will flow from platinum tip of center electrode to platinum bead of ground electrode), ground electrode has more of a circular curvature over its bent length (fakes have more of a 90 degree bend), product stamping and finishes are high quality (fakes stamping may be smudged or not centered and metal finishes are more low quality or show residual machining marks).

All I can say is the price is right. This is a must have so just go ahead and buy it. It’s way cheaper than a local stores. Installed and they are amazing. I used to have to turn my key twice in order to start the car now it’s on the first turn and if fire is right up.

My 2008 Civic EX Coupe 5 Speed Manual has two direct OE replacements...I pulled out original Denso OE Iridium the first time used these Laser Iridium NGKs twice now...ladies and gents I've been doing this for years, NGK can't be beat! Don't fall for Pulstar hype plugs, or E3 (Made in China), Bosch are made in China as well as Autolite (owned by the Fram Group, the people that sell the worst oil filters!) AC Delco and Motorcraft...Mexico, let's not forget the Motorcraft (Ford) 4.6L and 5.4L 3V SOHC 1996-2008.5 engines...the stuck plugs that (keeping it G rated...) PLUG UP, NGK doesnt make one for those but the 2008.5-2011 they make them...they wont stamp the NGK name on a bad plug. Chapions are USA except for the copper, marine, off road plugs (mexico). NGK is Japan all the way except a the non V Power nickles for off road like small engines and outdoor power, made in Brazil where Luk clutches and Bersa pistols are made...so no worries on quality there either! They last, don't trust me put a champion plug in a mower, then an NGK for a whole season each...cut the grass 2 times as often and forget you needed to change the NGK for 3 more years

Civic I just acquired with 225,000 miles was getting pretty bad gas mileage. Changed the the plugs with these ngk's. There were autolites in there and they looked pretty old. Also changed the coils. Also adjusted all 16 valves. Car purrs like a kitten now and gets better gas mileage. These plugs are high quality and I know I won't have to change them for another 50,000 miles or so. Great price for a great product
