Nice and bright, high/low functional
So far these seem to be an improvement over my other LEDs. I had one burn out of my other ones that had a fan on the front of the bulb. These have the fan on the backside which I've had good luck with in the past as well as the extra ballast like hid lights. I hope I get the same results that I had with a set I had in my old truck. Pictures for comparison. The new bulb is on the right old bulb on the left. Both led and the camera doesn't catch as much of a difference. Hoping for better longevity.

Modernizing Headlights for an old car!
My headlights on my 1999 Porsche 911 were dim. Regular bulbs would not work with my car -s o needed the ones with a fan - recommended by my mechanic. Much brighter and better.

Great lower cost bulb.
I decided to replace my aftermarket HID headlights with LEDs. I was unsure of which brand to buy so I just took a shot and bought the Fahren brand. Initially, I replaced my low beams with H11’s and liked them so much that I switched out my highbeams with 9005s. I am not completely sure that they’re quite as bright as the HID‘s but they are outstanding consistency of light pattern. I am really pleased with how bright white the lights shine. For the price, I don’t think you can beat it. In the future I may try their higher end bulbs, but these work so well I’m not sure I need to.

Some things to know
Make sure to check the polarity on the plug, it will plug in either way. I also recommend a drop of silicone lube( no not that kind) around the o-ring. If done correctly these last for a good while. I have actually had to turn my brights on to show somebody that my brights were not on and they are actually aimed correctly however I do recommend checking the aim afterwards on your headlights. It is nice to actually see more than a couple of hundred feet in front of the vehicle. When driving this actually illuminates the road on both sides equally. The only flicker I get is a pawn startup and to solve that I just leave my headlights set to off when I start the vehicle. I took them out of their automatic mode considering Sylvania charges a premium of $100 per bulb in some cases or for pair in others these have worked quite wonderfully and will be purchasing another set for another vehicle. The installation if you're familiar with how to install should take less than 30 minutes for all of them. Definitely a great Buy

Great bright headlight
These are great. Installing was easy and these lights are bright. They work as they should and they look and feel great as if made with high quality materials. I haven't encountered any flickering yet not saying I will just saying I haven't. They are more affordable than other brands don't know how long they will last so I can't comment on the lifespan of them but if they don't last long or if they last long I will be back to comment. As for now this is a great buy

2000s JDM cars? Yes. 2010s USDM cars? No.
Mixed review here, giving it a solid three because five stars for my one car, but zero stars for my other. It really chalks up to what vehicle you’re throwing them in.I run these on my ‘05 Subaru, and they work perfect! They’re bright, and have solid construction. Had them on for four months (it’s my daily driver) no problemo. Obviously they’re bulky like all LEDs, so have fun cramming them into your housings. I was impressed with how they chalked up against my former pair of Lucas Lighting (which lasted me four years, amazing LEDs…if you want to cough up $200 for a pair). So instead of upgrading my other car to Lucas, I decided to save some money and buy Fahrens for my other car. Well, that didn’t work out. When it came to my other car, my 2012 Ford, they worked for about 10 minutes, and went dead on my drive. Both of them simultaneously. That pointed me to a relay, but alas, no relay had been tripped. Turned my Tuesday night drive into a blind joyride. Officers really loved that. Anyways, they cut out immediately upon turning my lights on. Unplugged my battery, plugged it back in and same ordeal — work for about 10mins, and then crash. Turn them on, they blink, and go dead. Given they both crash simultaneously, i initially checked out my relays and fuses, nothing. In fact, you can turn them off and on again, they just give you a wink and go dark again. This is likely an issue with their outboard CANbus module. I knew for a fact that I needed the outboard module, but unfortunately Fahren’s won’t cut it for the 2012.
