Badly named - is bright orange
Bought this to dye a pair of pale beige Ugg boots that were looking grubby. Was going for a tan colour (tan = a warm brown by my definition) but one stroke of a brush and too late realised this comes out bright flaming orange. Not brown, just pure orange.I tried again with Angelus’s “Rust” and it was an improvement but still too orange-toned - even my 10 yo daughter screwed her nose up at them. Clearly I’m not doing my homework enough but Angelus don’t make it easy for customers. My third and last attempt to get more life from my uggs is ordering the brown. Wish me luck. The moral of the story is be very careful with angelus dyes - the name of the colour and how you expect it to look vs how it actually comes out on your shoe/suede item can be very different. Test on something before applying. Angelus you could do a LOT more to provide guides online to help people select the right colours, unless confounding people and forcing them to order more bottles of dye just to correct mistakes in colour selection is part of your business plan.In terms of applying the product it was pretty straight forward (although I watched someone in YouTube demonstrating how before attempting it - again Angelus why aren’t you providing content like this). I followed the advice of the YouTuber and used my own brush to get more precision and so can’t comment on the fuzzy thing they include with the dye.
