So far it cuts very cleanly on rusty and dirty heavy steel plate without any issue. I have not hooked it up to a table yet that's the next step. I own several plasma cutters but the price was appealing on this one. Is it as good as an American Lincoln, Hypertherm, Miller etc.. no.. it isn't (you can tell by the build quality and durability on the torch but those were 4 times the price)I have found the consumables to be way cheaper than any American brand. If your using it as a hobbyist or light shop use I think its fine. Availability of parts or service-unknown

This works great, has paid for itself many times over with jobs I've done with it.I bought another brand here on Amazon and it broke before completing the first job, have done over 200 feet of cuts now and this one is still going.No external dryer or separator needed super convenient and common air chuck and 220v plug...Never been happier with an Amazon purchase.

Feels very cheap. Plasma torch came broken leak air from inside the handle( not talking about the plasma tip that's supposed to have air.) Cuts horribly. Contacted Amazon and they want me to return it and wait a month or so to get the refund. Best arc only replied basic help like did I use a ground . . . Worthless help. And now nothing from bestarc. DO NOT BUY. NO ONE WILL HELP WHEN IT BREAKS. how hard is it to send a new torch or send a new unit and I send backthe bad one. It's not worth it ppl buy primeweld. They at least answer the phone or email.

Bought the BTC500XP to use on a CNC table since my 500DP caused too much interference. This one works just as good as the 500DP as far as cutting, clean cut on 5/8" mild steel. Very impressive for the price.Only complaint, why not provide a 50:1 voltage output instead of the 1:1 they provide. Wouldn't cost much to add in a voltage divider. Plus, there should definitely be a cover on the 1:1 voltage output. Very dangerous if someone was trying to reach for the power switch when it's running and touches that output.

Great product. Incredible value.On the cnc pigtail touching the two red wires together is equivalent to pulling the Trigger on the handle.I'm using a NEJE laser engraver as a cheap cnc plasma cutter.If your cnc table has a relay switch, the two red wires (2&3) need to be connected to the relay to function as Plasma Trigger on/off. I picked up this bestarc plasma cutter for small projects in the shop. For my first project I decided to up-cycle our old 20lb Propane tanks in Halloween pumpkin art. You can see how it worked on youtube by searching "Making Halloween Pumpkins from old Propane Tanks using Plasma Cutter". I still need to figure out the correct settings for 110VAC and my hand speed. This is a great machine. Works as advertised. Had a little problem finding consumables at first but customer service was quick to respond and sent them as soon as they were available ( part number B0D8W7J5RG ) confirmed clean cut 3/4 inch.
