This is my second TECKNET mouse, so I wasn't hesitant about the brand. In fact, I was looking to buy another exactly like the first when I across this one which is rechargeable instead of using AAs. This should save me even more plus convenience and of course, no dead batteries ending up in the landfill.In the box were the mouse, manual (that I never read), charging cable, and hiding in the bottom of the mouse is a 2.4G adapter that you can plug in your computer or laptop in case yours isn't set up for Bluetooth.As far as installation, I simply turn on the power switch on the bottom of the mouse and my Win 11 PC popped up instantly asking if I wanted to add the device. I clicked OK and that was it.It works as well as my other mouse, but it is a bit smaller so that will take some getting used to.I'm very happy with it and highly recommend this mouse. A great buy, especially for the money.

The perfect mouse for a laptop for those wanting a cheap, good comfort, mouse. The 1-star off was because I could not slow down the cursor. I have not managed to slow it down still tried the side buttons as that was the option to slow it down back when I had an old mouse.Mouse Comfort - This is one of the things that I love most about this mouse. The comfort for decently big hands is amazing.Battery Convenience - The battery needed can be any AA battery, I managed to find some for cheap on Dollar General!Speed - If you like a speedy mouse this one is the perfect one, I don't like speedy mice but I am getting used to it for sure.Overall if you love battery convenience, speed, and mouse comfort, this mouse is your go too. I would say I do recommend trying to find a way to slow down the mouse if needed and wanted.

I bought this to stuff in my laptop bag, I dislike touchpads for certain applications. Easy to hook up with Bluetooth, and if you do want to use the included dongle, well, that just works too. Good Logitech work-alike without the Logitech nonsense. Works well on any surface I've so far tried.

I needed a GOOD mouse for my Linux/Ubuntu platform, and this mouse fits the bill completely! Very happy with it. If feels good in the hand, no tension, no aches, it's ergonomic most definitely. I also use a rechargeable NiMH battery set with this mouse, and that is flawless operation. I also use the graphics software G.I.M.P.(Adobe Photoshop alternative) and Inkscape( Adobe Illustrator and Corel DRAW alternative) extensively, and this mouse completes tasks without fail. Now, for THE BAD - Unlike many Windows-based mice, they have a red LED to operate the mouse movement sensor, this mouse uses an infra-red LED, so there is no red glow of the mouse. The instruction booklet strongly recommends a light colored or white mouse pad to enhance the energy saving feature built-in to the mouse. This is kinda tough when a majority of mouse pads are black! If you step away from the computer, the mouse will go to sleep. Instead of moving the mouse to wake it up, a simple roll of the mouse wheel will wake it up, and then you are off an computing again. Linux is so smooth and glitch-free initially, and this mouse makes it enjoyable to use. Hope this helps if you are considering this mouse.
