A Pale Strawberry Flavor
From the first I wondered, what might sea moss be good for? And it turns out, quite a lot of stuff. BUt more than being a thing in itself, it seems sea moss is meant to enhance other things. Such as enhancing the health benefits of other edible things. As use as moisturizer on skin. As an additive to smoothies, soups, stews. In most of these uses, a savory version might be better. I found the strawberry flavor of this one a little thin. If it's going to be strawberry, I think the flavor might be brighter, but having used this one, for me, a savory rather than fruity one might be better. Also, if taken at the prescribed portions, this particular bottle would produce only 7 servings. All things said, this seems to be very good sea moss, and if you're looking for it to be an additive to a berry smoothie, it will work well, but it's not quite right for me.

Tasty, jar is small
I’ve become such a sea moss fan that I’ve been the unofficial Sea Moss Gel Mixologist™ for a bit. Well, this time of year I tend to be pretty busy so I couldn’t cook up a really interesting cocktail recipe. But this particular sea moss gel was delicious mixed with prosecco in a type of strawberry mimosa. This one is not the sweetest I’ve had, which is fine. It’s on the thinner side and mixes well with drinks. Other types are more solid and spreadable. The jar is very small so you’ll go through it quickly. I do kinda miss the wooden spoons they’d include with the larger jars, because those spoons have become my favorite cat food scoopers. But I guess with a small 8oz jar you don’t need one. I’m still a fan of the Biolore line.

Beneficial
I've been trying to add more nutrient-dense foods to my (lacking) diet, and was intrigued to stumble on this product. Sea Moss Jelly? That has provides 92 of the 102 essential minerals in just a two tablespoon serving? For a reasonable $15 for an 8oz jar, I had to give it a try!I got the strawberry, which is very subtle and not sweet. It really doesn't have much taste, but has a ton of vital minerals like magnesium, zinc, iron, and phosphorus. I had been expecting it to taste "oceanic"/fishy but I didn't notice that. It did kind of remind me of baby food, both the texture and smell, though it is more thick like jam.It would be a healthy addition to smoothies; I've just been eating it by the spoonful. I am thankful it is a Small Business, made in the USA product. I plan to try some of the other flavors!

Not bad at all
The flavor is mild and slightly sweeter than others I tried. It's a small container so it doesn't last long but I feel like my energy levels have gotten better since taking it.

Presumably healthy, but too reminiscent of seafood to replace normal jelly
This is my first time trying any sort of sea moss gel, and I have to say, the taste of the sea is definitely.... distinct. It's not fishy, per se, but it definitely reminds me of seafood. The strawberry taste is noticeable, but fairly light, which I believe is because the "sea-like" taste overtakes the strawberry taste. I initially tested the taste by trying a bit on its own, and then spreading some on wheat bread toast.I can't really attest to the health benefits, but it is nice to see that it seems fairly healthy as far as low sodium and low carbs/sugar. Keep in mind that this is only a 8oz container (with 7 servings of 2tbsp each), and the product images make the container look larger than it actually is. I provided a few pictures to get an idea of scale, though I only had a frozen banana and not a fresh one when comparing. This sea moss gel is something to consider if you want to easily have a serving of sea moss while substituting it in place of jam or jelly, but I don't foresee me getting this gel (or any sea moss gel) again anytime soon, simply due to the taste not being my forte (I'm really not a fan of jelly that makes me think I'm having seafood).

Biolore Strawberry Sea Moss-unpleasant flavor, but better than unflavored, I guess.
So if you have hopes as I did that this is like a yummy jam or jelly, it is not. The consistency is that of fruit baby food, and I did not find the flavor pleasant. I view it like I do cherry flavored cough syrup. Better than the horrible medicinal taste of unflavored cough syrup - helps you get it down - but still not something I would consider pleasant tasting. If I choose to use this, it will be something I swallow quickly for it's health benefits, but I will not be mixing it with anything that tastes good. It will ruin it.The ingredients explain alot about what the issues with flavor are. A different brand of fruit flavored sea moss I have that tastes much better lists the sea moss as the very top ingredient and there are zero artificial sweeteners - the fruit juice supplies the sweetening. This product lists purified water and Strawberry Puree first, then the the sea moss, and after that Lime Puree and Monk Fruit Juice. I hate the taste of Monk Fruit - no wonder this tastes bad. Since it is obviously possible to make this taste much better - I have a product that does - and since the choice was made to water this down and artificially sweeten it, it doesn't deserve the five star rating I gave the other product. Add the plastic jar instead of glass and minimal useful info on the jar itself, and I just can't give this more than a two. It gets a two because it is still better than straight sea moss.

Ocean Goodness, No Fuss
This sea moss gel is the real deal—pure, wildcrafted, and loaded with nutrients. I love that it delivers 92 of the 102 essential minerals. The taste is oceanic, not sweet—it tastes is ok, but it's no bother since that’s how you know it’s authentic. Once blended, you barely notice it anyway. If you’re looking for clean, natural nutrition, this is a great pick.

Easy to Take Sea Moss Gel
This sea moss gel has a mild taste. It's made in the US with quality ingredients. The texture and consistency is on the mushy side. You can add it to your shake or take it by itself.
