This picture shows gp0551. is it really gp0550 or the gp00551?

It appears to be the gp0550 (right hand). The gp0551 (left hand) is the mirror image of this with the connections on the left.

Pump handle extends out in the front.

The photo shows a left-handed pump, but the listing text says it’s for a right handed pump. Which is this product, left or right?

The one I received is the opposite the photo shows. By thevway, as far as I remember, it is possible to disassemble these pumps and reassemble them putting the lever to the desired side.
