It is indeed 5.3 inches, though it should be noted that this is to the top spike of the hair only, with the rest of the head being slightly shorter. Just an extra heads up, the figure is a bit fragile. I bought it for my sister for Christmas and she accidentally dropped it getting it out of the box, causing one of the legs to snap clean off.
