Danco 61789 4-Inch x 8-Inch Steel Floor Register with 7/8-Inch Drop, Brown

These were a perfect fit for replacing my old, rusty, paint chipped floor registers in my manufactured home. They were relatively cheap but made a huge impact on improving the look of the rooms I put them in. The shipping or handling at the factory might be sub par because some of them arrived with the moving vanes popped out of the pivot hole but it was easy to push them back into place. It only took a few minutes to replace each one and fasten it down with some color matched screws.

Perfect fit

They are sized perfect, exactly as stated. They feel robust and aren't going to bend from someone's boot heel walking over it. The only thing I would like to be better is that when the screws are tightened down sometimes the adjustment becomes a little sticky. I bought 4 of these and just had to adjust each one slightly to make them work good... Not many registers with smooth anyway though. I would recommend.

Replaced the original plastic floor heat vent in our RV. New one was a perfect fit. Easy 2 screws to install. The new vent has a built-in louver but I don't know why I would want to turn off the heat but I suppose somebody out there might.Seems very sturdy and would recommend it.

The vent didn't work out of the box. It stayed close when air was blown up through it. The dial on the side was broken. Doesn't feel like real metal it's more like a cheap tin. I returned it to buy a vent of better quality
