Yamaha quality is good
Excellent responsive keyboard pedal. A little pricey but I expect never to have to replace it.

Excellent damper/sustain pedal for Yamaha digital pianos
This is a top quality damper/sustain pedal for Yamaha digital pianos (I’m using this on Yamaha DGX670). Excellent price here compared to buying from Yamaha shops etc. It’s good and solid with very quiet mechanics. It is quite weighty and tends to stay put when playing with it.The pedal included with my new Yamaha digital piano is adequate, but lightweight and moves around a lot. This pedal solves this problem.I wholeheartedly recommend this pedal

Exactly what I wanted
I bought this pedal for one reason, reduced mechanical noise, and it really delivers on that.My old sustain pedal has a slightly creaky spring - not horrendous, but a bit like Bonham's notorious squeaker, pretty obvious when it's not hidden by other sounds. By contrast this Yamaha one is whisper-quiet, my fingers on the keys make more noise than the pedal action. It also doesn't suffer from thumping at the end of travel i.e. when fully depressed or released quickly. It is missing a couple of nice-to-have features: there's no polarity toggle (not an issue for me as my keyboard is also Yamaha) and the lead sticks straight out the back of the jack plug (my old pedal has a right-angled "elbow" that makes the lead less obtrusive). Neither of these is important to me but others may want to be aware.Very pleased that I've found my new recording pedal!
