It's a great value, it looks awesome and it sounds awesome too!!!
Glad I assume the negative reviewers were not to be trusted and ordered this. It went on easy (less than an hour), it looks awesome and it's already made a difference in one day. My truck idles smoother and I love the little growl it has when I get on it.Let's address a couple things in the negative review...The inside of the pipe being dirty as several have said. Mine wasn't, but I still balled up a towel and pushed it through with a piece of PVC pipe just to make sure. If you don't want to do that, don't buy a DIY install of a cold air intake. Just take it to a professional, who will do that on everyone they install to make sure it's free of dirt and debris. The kit didn't come with the four little hose clamps. Mine didn't either, but I assume any person attempting to DIY install a cold air intake probably has a jar of misc sized hose clamps on their workbench. I grabbed four and it didn't really impact the install at all.Seriously, if you are looking for a cold air intake that isn't insanely over-priced, this is the one. It's great quality and it's still at a great price too!

nice looking well made.
a little bit of power increase,a little bit more gas mileage, sounds awesome, and was pretty easy to install using a drill and socket adapter and bits.

Good product for the price
Install wasn’t hard, missing small clamps and one of the larger clamps busted, so I had to make a trip to Advanced Auto to get the necessary hardware.Like I said, install isn’t hard, if you are half way mechanically inclined, but the directions definitely lack clear detail.Once on, works great, noticeable sound and increase power at higher RPMs.

Looks cool sounds nice buuuuttt......
The pipe was damaged, but the box wasn't damaged so kinda just seems the packing could be better. *INSTALLER BEWARE - CHECK THE INSIDE OF THE PIPE BEFORE INSTALLATION!* I had a bunch of machining debris inside my pipe that I had to blow out that would have for surely came loose in operation and gone thru my engine. The installation instructions said that the fittings for the breather hoses were 3/4" wrench but were 13/16's wrench, and also said later on that being the barb style fitting it wouldn't need hose clamps. Perhaps if the hose that came in the kit was next size smaller that would have been the case, but unless I wanted to pull unmetered/unfiltered air into the engine you def need hose clamps on those fittings. Nice thing tho at least for the GM 6.2 L the hose was actually big enough that you wont need the not included smaller hose clamps for that connection because you can firmly fit the hose over the valve cover fittings. The 4" hose clamp for the throttle body connection (only get one) broke immediately upon tightening down so I had to grab another hose clamp from our parts room. The instructions say that it's an oiled filter, but mine was dry and came with no oil...so here's to hoping it should be a dry filter now.Other than that most everything fit together nice and looks good and sounds mean when you give'er the onion. Pro tip tho, when mounting the air filter shield into the engine bay, don't tighten the mount bolts down until last. You will have to wiggle and adjust it around when putting the pipe in to have everything look and fit right in the engine compartment. Then tighten it down, it's a rather sturdy looking set up. I had an extra 3.5" clamp and coupler when I was done. Also the 5.3L accordion tube throttle body coupler will actually fit perfectly on the 6.2L throttle body opening, just need a lil soapy water but will at least alone for some flexibility for the engine torque moving the block around.Much better throttle response with this kit than factory. Doubt I picked up any real power (nothing notable to me), but the sound and room opened up in the engine bay now is worth the money alone.

Engine light
I love how it did sound. But I have to give 1 star. Not specific. Throws engine code. Pipe came scratched. No clamps which should include. Crazy because I like rough country. Just the simple fact it’s not plug and play for these models being that it maybe need a tune? Took it off and now my engine light never came back on. But it did sound good and response was awesome. But 7mpg is not worth it or messing my engine up because of it being too rich which was 5 codes that was being thrown. Didn’t matter if I erased it or reset battery.

In my opinion best value for the money
Well worth the price. I installed CAI on all of my previous trucks. The cheapest one prior was Volant for $300 15 years ago.I bought a prefilter cover because this is an open box.I installed this morning, in my 2017 Silverado. Took about 40 minutes. Everything fit well. Drove to the hardware store to get 4 1" hose clamps for breather hoses. Cost $3.00 ea. During the drive I definately noticed difference in throttle response. Havent driven it enough to know mpg gains.I have flowmaster exhaust and truck already sounded great, sounds even better now.All in all this is a great price for this kit.Just to update mpg info, ive been driving fairly aggressive because my truck responds so much better. I assumed my mpg went down because of this, but it actually improved from an average of 16.9mpg to 18.2mpg. I am impressed.
