This grape seed extract is very efficient in that a little is very powerful however that goes for taste too. It is not unflavored like the listing says. It tastes like slightly burnt muddy chalk, kind of coppery, and very unpleasant. I add it to white grape juice, orange juice without pulp, and have found that the flavor of fruit or mild citrus really helps the chalky copper flavor. You do not need a lot of the drink because you are taking a small amount of the supplement so a half cup to a cup of whatever drink is enough. I really like the True Orange and True Grapefruit packets to go along with this product. I'm betting the True Lemon with this would be a winner but I haven't tried that one. A bit of sugar would make it slightly more palatable. A word of caution, the powder does tend to clump when wet and any shaker bottle, spoons, or cloth it comes into contact with will be stained a deep red. Either use stainless steel and hand wash with dish soap or just shake it in disposable bottles and assume they will be stained inside. I've been using spring water bottles that come in a big pack and they work great with the True Orange packets for this product. 10/10 Will definitely buy again.

I use Grape Seed Extract in both my pre-workout and my lunchtime "concoctions". My research has shown that this product may help cardiovascular, improving both circulation and lowering cholesterol. It has anti-oxidants which may help skin damage and it can also reduce pms symptoms. The flavor is a bit bracing, reminds me of what ground up tree bark would taste like. Recommend mixing it with a fruit juice. Most of the bulk supplement products I am including in my mixes are very tart/bitter. I take it like a man though and just mix with water, pinch up my face and then wash it down quickly with a glass of water. After what came before, a glass of regular water never tasted so sweet... :-)Bulk supplement products are always high quality and shipping is always fast.A serving size is tiny and based on recommendations from other reviewers for other bulk supplement products, I ended up purchasing the American Weigh Scales GEMINI-20 Portable MilliGram Scale, 20 by 0.001. I also purchased the Norpro 3080 Mini Stainless Steel Measuring Spoons which includes ( tad, dash, pinch, smidgen and a drop ). The recommended serving size is 200mg, but based on a review by Stephen Cabot (who has written numerous excellent reviews of bulk supplement products and subsequently got me hooked on bulk supplements) his recommendation is 350mg for pre-workout and 150mg for lunch. The 350mg serving size comes out to a "tad" and the 150mg serving size comes out to a "pinch".

Bulk Supplements did give me a free product for my review. However I have no reason to not be honest in this review.I have tried many brands of grape seed extract through the years. Always in capsule form. I take it mainly to help my skin.I have eczema and I can tell in 2 days how effective the product is. So for me it is not really the price, it is how my skin reacts.This product is very good with its potency. I do see a positive reaction in my skin with this Bulk Supplement Grape Seed extract.So if you can take this, it is a very good product.The problem is the taste. It is difficult for me to swallow I tried it mixed with juice in a blender, still taste bad. I tried to disguise some in ice cream but still the taste bled through. For now I have been forging ahead because it is effective. I'm going to try to make tiny ice cubes I can swallow?I hope to find a way to swallow this to avoid the taste.

I haven't long been taking Grape Seed Extract, but few weeks ago I started taking it in pill form for inflammatory issues. It takes a while to notice improvement with any type of supplement or medicine in general, but before I ran out of the first bottle of pills I had , I wanted to order more and found this seller during my search for a better price. I like the fact that it's uncut - that when you order the supplement , there are no fillers. I like the fact that it's bulk, which means you get a lot more of the supplement itself.That said, I feel it fair to mention that Grape Seed Extract is very tart ( think "alum" - it makes you pucker involuntarily ) and it's also quite bitter. I've tasted a LOT of herbal supplements in my life and have had much worse, and one thing I can say about the bitterness is that at least it doesn't linger - drinking a glass of water after swallowing it should remove the taste. However, you may want to consider using empty capsules to fill with this for that reason ; it's not yummy.The way it tastes is exactly the way it *should* taste , though ; if you've ever eaten grapes *with* seeds , like Muscadines for example, and you've ever chewed up the seeds, the flavor lets you know it's the real thing which is what you want when taking a health supplement - in other words, the tart and bitter components are not necessarily "bad", just comes with the territory - so don't let that dissuade you and if the flavor bothers you and you don't have empty capsules perhaps there's something else it could be mixed with and "chugged" quickly.Overall, this seems to be a good company for product, price and service - 5 stars earned!
