seem well made fitted both locks some trouble finding a lock smith to cut extra keys but sorted in the end.Would buy again..

When we moved we replaced all are locks with these very good quality

Having had trouble with a previous lock sticking, it was much easier to simply replace the barrel than try WD 40 or graphite (don’t mix the two!) with no guarantee of success.I was going to say it was a 5 minute job, but in reality it was more like two minutes, open the door, unscrew the cylinder retaining bolt, rotate the door key until you can withdraw the cylinder. Insert the new cylinder and tighten the retaining bolt then check it all works.It takes longer to type than to do.

Seems very nice and sturdy, and up to the job.Keys slide in and out very smoothly (stop your dirty mind...), handle turns smoothly, and the door locks as it should do. It really is very easy to install. 1 screw on the side of your door, and the old barrel does slide right out - if you have a uPVC door.Makes life much easier when going to open a locked door from the inside, to someone who's knocking outside with a takeaway. Without having to fumble around trying to find the key.Nice that it comes with 3 keys too. Keys are quite firm themselves too, and cut nice and sharp.Highly recommend. Just be sure to measure the length of your old barrel. I didn't, but I was super lucky that it just happened to be the size that I needed...

Not sure why this item has many positive reviews. Mine turned out not to have the Thumbturn design shown on the picture and the brass was much brighter. Generally looked and felt cheap. Organised t9 return.
