Super Easy DIY
Our garage fridge was not producing ice - the tray would not fill, but the ice maker was cycling as normal. The water dispenser was still producing flow. After earning some credits at YouTube University, I figured out the problem was a faulty fill valve. I called some local repair companies with estimates ranging in the $300-$400 range. This couldn't have been an easier repair and a fraction of that cost. You literally need a wrench, a socket and a screwdriver to complete the repair. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate the difficulty of the repair a 2 while leaving $350 in my pocket. Very pleased and the ice is back!

Compatible replacement but not exact
Needed a replacement valve kit for my 2002 KitchenAid Supraba refrigerator. I had to modify the mounting a bit but it fit and I now have filtered water and ice. - Happy

Water inlet valve
Had to replace my water reservoir and lines but when removing the lines the OEM water inlet valve started to leak OEM replacement is around $110, saved around $70 and it’s the exact same part. Good quilt replacement

Solenoid for the ice maker wouldn’t close
I installed this part and immediately noticed I was getting some water in the ice bin. I looked at the ice maker and noticed that it was slowly overflowing which was then dripping into the ice bin which caused all the ice to become one large block of ice. Then the solenoid for the ice maker wouldn’t close at all which caused water to pour out all over my freezer and onto the kitchen floor. So the ice maker solenoid was defective. I installed the old part and the issue is no longer happening so the problem 100% was this part.

Perfect fit with only one catch
Worked perfectly and was easy to install. Only catch was it came with 1/4 inch hose and my fridge uses a 5/16 hose so I had to buy a reducer to mate the line.

Good part/easy install
This was easy to install. Turned out my problem was the filter housing but it’s probably not bad to have replaced the valve since we have hard water.
