I bought a universal 7 inch radio, so the trim brackets were being protruded out too much. So I used the original brackets and a lil 3m tape and got it to fit beautifully. I’m highly satisfied

On a whim one day, I decided to get a new radio. My husband installed it. But when I came out to check it out, I was met with a smirk on his face, followed by a radio that didn't fit in my car! There was a gap all along the entire new radio, and it looked so ridiculous and honestly super trashy. I was so upset, I spent a couple hours trying to figure out how it was possible for a radio to not fit, considering you can really only get new radios in DIN or double DIN, I thought it HAD to fit. Right? Wrong. So I purchased this product, he installed it super quickly (it was easy, he said) and then it fit perfectly! I love my new radio now, and it doesn't look ridiculous! I got a beautiful display and better quality audio. I couldn't be more pleased!

I needed this to fill in the space between my bezzle and my new unit. The thin sections of plastic are a bit on the flexible side but it fits perfectly. It is nesisary to use the plastic mounting brackets to hold the trim in place, as opposed to using the oem metal mounting brackets. They are sturdy enough, but I wish I could have had the option to keep the original hardware.Tldr: good product, included hardware is nesisary for mounting the trim.

I bought a Atoto A6 head unit but the mounts it came with didn't work with how the dashboard is designed so I picked this up. Every piece worked great and fit the radio bezel 100%

This will not fit without a lot of modifications (cutting and hacking on it). I don't think its so much as a problem with this but its more of the way the front of the ATOTO A7 is designed since other Forester and Radio combinations seem to work out without modification. See photos of what was removed to make it fit. It's not pretty but it worked out.

Received items today and was scheduled for install. The bracket is warped and does not appear that it's from shipping but rather from the manufacturer. The purpose of these brackets is for a clean install. Might as well leave the gaps instead of this. Waiting for replacement, let's see how that goes.Update: 4 days for replacement to arrive and it was not defective as the first unit. Clean install in an 09 Forester.

I bought this to install a Kenwood DNX-6140 in my 09 Subaru Forester. This was very easy to install and fits into the dash excellently. I ended up using this instead of the mounting hardware that came with the 6140.It is made of all plastic and at first I was worried it would be too flimsy to hold the stereo in place, but after installing it I found it held great. It even work with only two of the four screws for attaching in the car (I dropped two screws and they are lost forever in my dash console), but I did end up getting two additional screws to hold it in. Just be aware the mounting locations are pushed back in the console and can make holding the screws in place difficult. That is more of an issue with how the Subaru dash was design than the mounting kit.

I ordered the impreza installation kit and received the subaru liberty installation kit. Does not even fit my car. Very disappointed after waiting weeks.

Prefect fit for my WRX. but need to cut the kit to fit in my stereo.

This item fits the vehicle well, but if your aftermarket stereo has anything but a touch screen such as knobs or buttons this adapter will obstruct their use.

Ok I’ll start by saying something good... it made with good quality plastic and fitment was perfect in 08 Impreza. Now as for the bad.... it did not come with three sizes as stated in the description! Was too deep and had to cut it to modify it so the radio would be flush and not look like it was the radio was installed too back and wrong. Took me about an hour to make it look perfect. It would have been nice to get the other sizes as stated what I was paying for so it would have taken me 2 mins to install instead of an hour to custom fit it. Time is money
