plumbed in my humidifier
Works great, I plumbed in my humidifier using this and its great for not having to fill it every day. As per reference my humidifier is one of those big six gallon ones. Fit perfect.

Nice
We have multiple of this exact item. Explored and tried others but these work. Use for water redistribution from water barrels, shuts off at set level and fills without stuttering. ONLY COMMENT, the FLOAT should be Heavier, we use metal nuts to weigh it down.

GREAT PRODUCT
I bought this for a 2500-gallon water storage tank, (cistern). I set the depth of the bottom weight at about 3 feet. The tank is 8 feet deep. By doing this it means that the pump will only come on after the water volume has dropped about 1000 gallons. By doing this, considering the amount of water that we use each day for the house, the pump will only come on about twice a month.I have two of these tanks. I use one for a trailer that we are currently living in while the house is being built. I only fill the tank twice a month, manually turning the pump on and off. This saves on electricity but more importantly it should add to the life of the pump. Replacing a well pump is about a $7,000.00 expense.Note: I found that I needed to add more water to the weight bottle to make it a little heavier than suggested.I will be buying a second valve for the other tank.

Doesn’t last!
Didn’t last! Installed in October and it’s already broken in February. Lasted about 4 months. Total Junk!!!!

Adjustments necessary
I needed a float valve to turn on and off and not slowly shut off water.Definitely fussy with adjustments. Added about 2 oz of stainless steel washers as weight is too light. Too much weight will not allow to shut off. However, I seemed to get it right and so far working well. I’ll add more after a few weeks use.

Great float valve for water storage tanks
The valve works great. Easy to install. Does install on standard 1in threads. Flows water very well. I have installed on a black storage tank that I use for my water well as a means of back up water and to keep my in ground well pump from constantly turning on and off through out the day. The only thing I found wrong was that the bottom weight was too light to keep the valve open. The problem was that when the float would go up the weight wasn't heavy enough to keep the valve open. So I added a 2oz fishing weight on the bottom and now it's stays open when the water rises and the float raises up to the correct level instead of being just above the weight at the bottom.

Working great
Does what you would expect. Nice and doesn’t drip or leak.

Does not work as advertised
I bought this valve to replace a dual float valve that failed. This one doesn't work very well. The level span is 42-inches. Set up initially with the float filled to the line as the video sugested, the valve shut off after filling just 10 or so inches. Even with the float completely filled with water, the valve shuts off with 28-inches remaining to the stop. I don't know if I need to add more fixed weight to the bottom of the string, or more weight to the top of the already full float. Definitely does not work as advertised!
